What a surreal discussion we got here. Ethiopia INVADED our country. It pounded our cities from the air and ground. Killed hundreds of Somalis if not more. It left in it's path ruin, wreck, grieve and bitter division. As I write this post there are thousands of Ethiopian soldiers in Somalia. In the midst of it all, in the face of all this "hard" reality on the ground, we're talking about forming EU like union between Somalia (occupied) and Ethiopia (occupier). Without a doubt y'all are smoking the same stuff Ceydiid jr was.

Get your collective heads out of the gutter and think real.

If you have read any of my posts, and know of my presence in here you'd know that I am not a "tree huger" or a political whale. Sometimes, even when it hurts, people need to be nice. Not in the sense of worshipping but in getting their way. Politicians are ruthless individuals but many RARELY show their "true colors." How do you think America has last this long?

You have creamed nothing, except maybe for your coffee this morning ; you still have not provided anything that would add to this discussion. The only argument you have is Ethiopia being the "bully" and you have not said how. My knowledge comes from the fact that I have lived in both countries, was educated in both and I speak the language of one.

Now letÂ’s get down to the facts, shall we?

Ethiopia has never been our enemy, the wars with Ethiopia have been power based wars in which one was waged by the mad mullah who wanted to gain legitimacy after he was chased out of the prosperous city of Barbara and the second was by Siyad Bare who wanted to wage war to distract people from his failing government. Many Somalis have Ethiopian relatives; we are of the same people. This is something you seemed to forget, or not know at all. Even we Somalis are divided on the Ethiopian Issue why would that be? Perhaps the thing you need to do is be humble and learn from the natives, rather than cheerleading to what is the popular opinion of the day.
