why should they disarm if reer puntland are still armed remember that ali geedi said that kuwaa puntland jooganaa must lay their arms over to the elders of garoowe. but it doesnt make sense if 8000 ciidaan of puntland are now in jowhar ready to disarm reer moqadisho. c/yusuf must first disarm his clansmen than can they disarm reer moqadisho.

That's the point. Plans to forcibly disarming Mogadishu only. Hawiye fear negative impact in Hawiye land, despite turmoil lie only Hawiyeland. ie. four people were killed Wednesday night after bandits fired a rocket at a truck whose driver refused to pay extortion. Unauthorized checkpoints have popped up all over the city, reminiscent of the years of anarchy when clan-based militias carved up Mogadishu, and much of the rest of Somalia as well.
