LOOOL you never knew he was ogadeen? Is sheik Umal Ogadeen too

Most wadaads are ogadeen or Sheikhal or so I hear.

But I've known sheik Abdurasheed ali sufi's recitations for awhile. I even have a lecture even though the VHS IS CRAPPY QUALITY.

Yes, Sh. Umal is OG and an imaam at Eastleigh mosque, the same mosque Hassan Turki used to attend for years.

Yeah, man Sh. Umal is da bomb! He's very good at Fiqh. My mom has a closet full of his tapes and hands them out like they're candy to everyone she sees...

Sh. Umal visits Khalid Bin Walid almost every summer with other Sheikhs for summer mutamar (Islamic conference) including Sh. Mustafa Haji (reer waqooyi), Sh. Shibile (from Sweden) and Sh. Mahamad Idriis (my former imaam at Atlanta).

Yeah they have annual conferences here in T.O. Those guys are hustlers.
They try to get advertisment dollars from anybody.

Anyhow they put sheik bashiir shiil under house arrest because the Majerteen adminstration didn't want to hear too much jihad talk and anything worthy of the RCMP (MOUNTIES) OR CSIS (CANADA'S CIA) attention.

They are kinda justified because the gaalo are always listening. You have to be political and still get a solid message across.

Oh! I see. I believe the issue is bigger than that if it's what I've heard. It seems Sh. Shiil is Salafi Jadiid (a new sect who claim they are the actual Salaf), they've sprung up everywhere and many Somali masjids have been divided because of them including my old masjid in Atlanta.

The new Salafis claim that they are the only correct followers of Islam and everyone else is comitting Bid'a. They originated in Saudi Arabia and were actually set up to counter Al-Itihad & other groups. So, I believe the administration in Khalid Bin Walid made a smart move by deposing him, before he caused much trouble as they always do.

Wahabis always deviding instead of uniting............soon each wahabi person will have their own sect!!
