@ Kun Dile, let's be honest, Boosaaso is the 4 largest city in Somalia, right after Kismaayo. Beletweyne is the 5 largest city. And Baidoa is the 6 largest city.


Boosaaso house's are built too close to each other, like in the western nations, no space is wasted. That is why you see in the middle of the picture it's more dense.


But that does not mean Beletweyne is small, because Beletweyne is also a HUGE CITY, but not big as Boosaaso.


Trust me, i wouldn't lie, because I LOVE BOTH CITIES EQUALLY!
My family has connections to both Beletweyne and Boosaaso.

But I rep for GAALKACYO TILL I DIE!!! MY ONLY HOME TOWN!!

Camel, as Leelkase, I find it pathetic that you went too far to post satelite images which as Dowlad Sade proved to be too different in scope and range. One's scope and range is very close to Beletweyne, a city that you think is populated by Hawadle-hawiye and Galjecel-hawiye and the other other is too far.

From the pictures, they both seem to be about the same. Beledwein as well has a packed town center and looks better built. Bosaso looks like a refugee camp.

The pictures were taken 6 months ago. You can check that by turning on the "Digital Globe Coverage" and selecting the DG Coverage - 2006. It should highlight all the pictures that were taken during the 2006 year.

GeelJire, I said the two images you posted don't match in scope and range, so distance makes a big difference as far as the view and panorama of the two cities you compared are concerned.

Beletweyne is a pandemonium while Bosaso is a prosperous with the vibrant life of a metropolitan.

The Puntland cities look deserted. The number of people in all the pictures could be counted with one hand. Personally I think Baidabo is bigger than both Bossasso and Baled Weyn. Kismaayo is bigger than all three at least 5 times.
