About Raxanweyn, they way i see it is this... if Afars, oromos and Rendile are not Somali, there's no good reason why Raxanweyne or traditional af-maay-maay speakers can be Somali. A lot of 'em look like us but they speak unintelligable language... which upon closer examination reveals richness in variation that can only hint being very old. Prolly a forerunner of modern Somali. Whatever the case I wouldn't consider them "ethnic" Somalis.

its a psycological need for them to claim that isaaq is Dir,
it makes the Darood case stronger, and it moves people's attention away from the fact that Daroods Mythical origins are just mythical.

The donbiro story and the incident with darood up on the Tree is Identical to the Origin story of the Ajuraan.



Now how can Isaaq live with people who take it as thier right , to concoct our own history for us.
