What we need is some other Darood's to get squarely in the limelight for a decent period of time. Dhabayaco-Ilkoyar thingo has gotten monotonous.

Lets throw another spin in to the mix yea. Seing as all of this is suppositional. Lets say Dhulbaahante and Warsangali who geographically are Somalilander's decide to settle what ever dispute they have with Isaaq and become part of Somaliland even though we all know this is more than adequately not likely to be, Where would Somalia's politics be?

Where would Somalia be then?

Where does Puntland go?

And the TFG?

Would there even be something called Darood?

This is alot of BS, in the real world (i.e. in the streets of Somalia) notions like 'Hawiye association' or 'Daroodnimo' does not exist. It is the politicians and warlords who will try and fail to get Somali people to fight on clan division.

All this division is surely to the advantage of our eternal nemesis- Ethiopia.

Someone in this discussion correctly pointed out it is mostly MJs who cry out for 'Daroodnimo' when the going get tough for them and seek the support of other Daroods sub-clans. I have never heard us raising 'Daroodnimo' to defend ourselves from anyone. I wonder why?

First of all, I don't think anyone has a right to interfere in whatever decision is made by these two groups.

To answer your question; the idea of Daroodism would promptly fizzle and deflate. Darood would be divided into disparate minorities within three countries, unable to marshal their significant numbers for any cause. Now, if and when Hawiye get their act together in Somali politics, it would be curtaisn for Dhabayaco and Ilkoyar. Darood-Hawiye politics would be reduced to who is able to strieka more favourable deal with the Hawiye body politic. Dhabayaco can offer only oil, trade, education. Ilkoyar could offer to assuage the revenge impulse, lots of fertile land, ability to grow cash crops for export, educated elite to lecture at Universities.

Ilkoyar would have the most favourable outcome, I think.

So bottom line, Dhabayaco are screwed. Isn't it delightful.

Saddam, grow up.

Its the worst case scenario. Ilkoyar have better relations with the Hawiye than the Dhabayaco do. Its not going to be pretty.

[quote="]What do you, as a neutral observer of Somali politics, see as the strengths and weaknesses of the Majeerteen clan in today's Somali political arena in general and in comparison to the:

Look at this kid giving too much attention to this low life kaafir who doesn't even know how to wash his ghusl (غسل) and he/she asking him what do you think of the Somali affairs?

Its always good to have a differing viewpoint. It also puts his focus away from insulting Islam and Muslims, and onto more productive pursuits. Would you refuse this, Aiman?
