"He must be insane. It is shocking that a president believes such crackpot fantasies. Americans have never done such nefarious things and are not capable of it either. "
Allende?
What do you call missile strikes in Libya and Afghanistan ?
Iran Contra?
I assume you were being facetious, Cilmiile.
Nope. Islam is the problem.
mayne, to be real with you, it isn't, we are all HUMANS, the same species, created by one entity of some sort that from a logical point we can't understand, but from faith we do. We are seperated into packs of sets, catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, all the rest, and we can't get ourselves to respect each other, why? Because we think one religion is right, and we can't tie all religions together, or find the MEANING of life together, we all argue that this is right and that is wrong, historically, we've clashed, and through that time we each have maybe been taught that this bad and that was good, so we make our assumptions that one religion is full of beasts, and all that ****.
It's just that we as HUMANS, can't cooperate as a whole kind of one, we always have to divide, and the factor of each individuals thought, I don't think it'll ever happen where ALL of us learn to respect each other, and understand that we ALL are humans.
humans cause unnecessary problems, not Religion, religion doesn't breathe, it's how WE as humans perceive religion, and our understanding of it at this point.
Also, Hate, Greed, Jealousy, and Spite run the world.
WE are the problem, not religion, I know MOOOST of us, have been taught, that when there is a problem, you have to fix it, so far, nobody wants to fix it.
We are criticized at, not helped. And you have to admit, most white folks DON'T like Muslims...
Some say it out loud, some tie it with Politics, some are closet haters, that hate coloured's AND Muslims.

Re: Is Chavez whacked or what?
ISLAM was never the problem for the downfall of the Muslim Empire, and I dont say this because I am a Muslim, but I say this because its the fact and any intelligent person whether Muslim or not will say so.
but As far as Chavez goes He is the Man today, and Ahmednejedad Too. Two Real Men; to actually defy the norm and stand for what they believe.

Re: Is Chavez whacked or what?
Ahmedinejad doesn't believe what he says. And Chavez is leading his people down the path of Socialism. I can understand the whole 'Social Justice' thing he has going, but is moot unless the present debt-economics thing is overturned.
Plus, his Central Bank is controlled by you know who, and they're not about to allow anything they don't want to happen.

Great man.
Re: Is Chavez whacked or what?
Chavez's memorable saying 'El diablo vino aqui ayer' that took place in the U.N. General Assembly. Great man indeed.

Re: Is Chavez whacked or what?
The poor in Venezuela vote for Chavez because he improves their standard of living every year, and most Venezuelans are poor so Chavez keeps getting voted in.
Also, most South Americans hate America for the death squads of the 50s, 60s and 70s, so being anti-American is a crowd pleaser, and makes South Americans feel strong and proud and independent. If America hadn't been such a jerk for half a century, then Chavez would probably be blaming someone else for why Venezuelans are so poor.

Re: Is Chavez whacked or what?
Chavez has about as much diplomatic tact as a bull in a china closet. He's a laughing stock.
What do you want to bet that when his term is up in 2012, that somehow the constitutional limit will be removed so he can continue in office.
