I agree, it went to deaf ears. Nothing new. THere was a press meeting today with abgaal elders today opposing the hawiye meeting yesterday. They said that their views didn't represent the hawiye views and it was just few ppl with their own interests.

I believe we should not fall into the same mistake Caydiid committed in 1992 when he fought the Darood when they arrived at Caymiiska & AFgoye only to have the Hawiye break their promise to abandon Ali Nafto when he defeated the Darood.

This time it was the Hawiye who brought back the Darood.


Sacad should continue to be neutral. We should not get carried away in the crocodile tears of the Hawiye esp. our HG.

The UIC caused this mess & hawiye humiliated Sacad & treated us like dirt in Xamar so let us leave them to figure things out.

Ismahan don’t let AW manipulate you with his exaggerations about UIC and UIC vs Warlord and his misguided Sacad supporters…

Sacad was and still is respected in Xamar .. I have my family to prove for that.. all that AW is complaining about is the reaction of the UIC supporters towards those who supported a warlord over peace..


I mean, if im in a struggle for peace and a warlord becomes my obstacle ..Then who ever supports him becomes enemy too...THATS NATURAL

If i was the head of UIC then warlords would have become my enemy..Even though iwould dont things differently with my poeple... never the less i'd say the supporter of warlords are equal to their warlords in term of fighting against peace .. even if their support is pure qabiil support..since its once duty to ask what and where their being lead to.. wouldn’t you...

Qabiil is not a justification for theifdom,poverty and it shouldn’t be used as any other means but of unification of family, relatives and even loved once for good purpose.. or help/support…

My adeer once told me never to count on a Akhwaan to be tool because they will never see you their tool unless u have the same ideology & belief system.

Btw: What happened to the hubka Sacad after we were defeated in Xamar ? Where did it all go ? Wasn't Al Fuurqaan supposed have taken it over yet instead 90% went into Shiisheye hands ?

Al Fuurqan were powerless once again and proved themselves to be a lackey shiisheye court instead of a Sacad group.

I never doubted that the sacads are still respected in Xamar, but we can't trust ppl anymore cuz they let us down each time to the point that we as sacads disagree among ourselves b/c of them. I liked what the UIC did for the pp, at the same time they underestimated us and themselves, we asked them to give us a chance to manage GM ourselves but that was not good enought. We didn't want to fight with them and sacad were divided cuz of that. The UIC is the best thing that happened to SOmalia in the past 16yrs, I will agree with you on that, but they were not politican or diplomats they couldn't run the country. They themselves said they didn't want to form a gov't and wanted to just rule by the Shari'a Law. The country is not going to function like that.

Whats your stand on TFG and the ISlamic courts?

I never liked the Abdullahi Yusuf faction of the TFG. I did support the Mogadishu Ministers faction of the TFG & the Isbaheysiga La Dagalanka Argaxiisida over the Courts. I saw the danger that the courts posed from the 1st day: extremists who would draw world attention to Somalia and move US support from the Hawiye to Abdullahi Yusuf. The UIC was the best thing to happen to Abdullahi Yusuf because he was effectively boxed in by the Sharif Xasan, the Mogadishu Ministers. Once the UIC removed the Mogadishu ministers out of his way, he was able to partake in the calls to fight terror.

The Courts were filled with extreme men like Ceyroow who wanted to capture all of Somalia by force and force feed us his extereme views. The UIC may have done a few good deeds in Xamar but ultimately their xaaq daaro caught up with them. The system imploded based on the greed of a few men like Indoocade versus the Shabaab.

I personally don't see the difference between Caasho Yusuf and the 'Disho ministers and the Isbaheysiga La Dagalanka Argaxiisida. They are all part of the same movement. I also don't this the hawiye ministers like Geedi and Ina Caydiid about thinking about hawiye power, they are just puppets to Ethiopian.
