No offense Xiddig but the whole reason majeerteen crawled back to Siyaad was to make sure to turn you and the kacaan against each other.

when the majeerteen committed treason against the somalis by trying to take advantage at a time of national confusion and low morale after our defeat by the communist world, it is why they tried to enroll you and the hawiye but everyone knows how you isaaq responded in honor and dignity by being above the gun, then of course it was when their poets started employging stuff like "what is it to you, me and siyaad are both daarood" waan iskaga kaa xignaa and then they joined the government with the explicit purpose to use the government's name to raise you up against attrocities the government was committin against you even though it was majeerteen hitting two birds with one stone, one hand making more opposition to siyaad by using his name to subjuguate you and another as revenge for embarassing them infront of somalis by reminding them of their treason. even cilmiile does not hid this.

then of course you isaaqs bought it...

that is why recently i have been fully understanding why you rose, you aren't really bad its just you were just used by the majeerteen[/quote]

Since the begining of time we Isaqs were patriots(I still believe we still are) the first Somali flag was raised in Hargeisa, long before Majeerteen and Hawiye or any other tribe, we fought more than any other clan in the Somalia Vs Ethiopia war of 77, we sacrificed for Djebouti to win it's independence from France, we put our own interest on the back burner for Somaliweyn and the good of the Somali people and the Somali nation. Somalilanders intoxicated with Somalinimo gave up their new, independent nation of Somaliland to join their Southern brothers, unconditionally, Somalilanders moved to Xamar and other parts in Somalia to help lift up the masses, they established the education system in the South, Isaq businessmen invested in Xamar building the tallest buildings. Isaq soldiers were stationed in Xamar while other Somali clan soldiers got stationed in Hargeisa, Burao, Gabiley, Berbera and Ceerigaabo and other Isaq towns, nightly curfew, elders shot, youngmen excuted, women raped and the bombing campaign did it for us. In 1981 we formed SNM to free our people and we did, the SSDF came to the SNM in the early 80s and asked if the two movements can join and become one, the SNM charman at the time responded" adeer dadkayaga dulmi baa saaran idinkaana dabkaa shiday" Again, in 1999 while Cigal AUN was alive, the same SSDF warlord Abdilaahi Yusuf called Cigal and asked him if the newly formed Majeerteenia(Puntland) can join Somaliland, Cigal the statesman answered " kuwa aanu ka cararayno waa idinka ee Somalida kale maaha"

no not really.

The killing of Isaaq generals during the ethiopian war for no aparent reason started it.
The behaviour of the ogadeen dominated WSLF, running loose killing ,raping pillaging in somaliland while we were disarmed and peacefull was also a start.
