Why is it shame on her? She married some Christian guy she loves. There's no shame in that. I bet if it was muslim dude than married a non-muslim women and the bride converted to Islam you wouldn't be saying that now would you?
Some of you people are such hypocrites.
PRAGMATIC GAL is not muslim.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm curious what is she...Christian? Yall got Christian somalis on here...........Damnnn
She is not in the haleeluya singing camp either!

HAHA....if she believes we're derived from apes, then where did they come from? Obviously someone created them unless they made each other without the help of any supreme being

It's not a matter of being westernized or anythin, it's jus a fella protecting his maal. It's not our fault that u bradas, even the non-muslims who know nothing bout the hagog thing (not that anyone puts that on anymore) can't keep off us ladies yakhe!

A non-muslim brada will jus approach a mama if he feels her, now to avoid such situations, we'll jus put on the damn ring (which to us has no meaning), I will!! that way he'll back off a lil. So...No..no shame on her, it's jus a ring!! And the kufaar backed off!!
Mweusi,
I got news for you. Putting on a ring with the intention of keeping a man away doesn't always work. Especially when it comes to a black man! I've seen alot of brothas get at some of your women even if they sported rings whether married or not. Hell I've even seen them get at some of your women who were fully clothed in muslim attire. So you see my point...the black man sees and knows shit yall dunno.
and that black man would be u i suppose?... stop hittin' on taken women waryaa, there's plenty of fish in the water.
zulaika,
Never said myself. I'm biracial. I said some black men I've seen. Besides based on mweusi post, she said that your women wear the rings to throw men off which I've indicated doesn't always work.
p.s. I'm already dating a somali girl and don't need to get at any married women.
biracial?? as in that's supposed to be a non-black identity? unless u're a mixed breed of chinese and arab, your azz is black hon.
and yes, i feel ya on some black dudes taking no for an answer let alone a simple ring display.

Stop your non sense there for God sake. No dignified Muslim women will marry a Christian only those who are impure and Muslim by mouth (not true Muslim practicing) will marry an outsider.
BTW you being dating a Somali women must be one of our outcast group who are disown by their family. No Somali women in their right mind will take a ethiopian product into our race it will be disgrace especially to a non Muslim one.

#1baller, stop being so transparent. The reason Somali girls (or any self-respecting woman for that matter) won't give you a chance is that you're a jackass who doesn't respect women. It has nothing to do with you being Black (sorry, biracial).
And lots of non-Christian Americans exchange rings, so quit trying to ruffle feathers. What kind of idiot boasts about having a girlfriend? Clear proof you ain't getting any

zulaika,
I'd like to think that you're more intelligent than that. The term "biracial" refers to someone who is derived from two different ethnic races.
Being biracial is not only limited to someone of Chinese/Arab descent. It also applies to people like myself, Halle Berry Shemarr Moore, Mariah Carey, and others who's blood are not 100% of one race.
I really don't care what ignant people in the horn think about a person of my composition. As an American, I'm considered biracial and that's all that really matters, so tha haters can continue to keep hatin'.
And it's not even about black males taking "no" for an answer. Some of these so called "married" women flirt with these kats and they get involved. Many times over... the woman wants tha brotha.

#1. You are living in a delusional world if you actually believe tha shit that you are saying. There's something called "love" and love should have no boundaries EVEN in religion! Any religion that supports that type idiocracy is archaic and ignorant to human beings period.
#2. I'm not Ethiopian....I'm American so know who you're responding to before opening up your mouth. And no...not because a Somali girl dates a non-somali she automatically becomes an 'outcast' in society. If her family disowns her for doing that then they are just as dumb and ignorant as you are.
The somali girl I'm currently dating still lives at home. I'm very close with her sisters, cousin and her brother and they're happy that we're dating. I guess you don't live in America do you?

Stop being transparent? You're losing me here. Point me to either one of those sects of Christians I mentioned that don't exchange rings? You are functionally illiterate.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Pragmatic Gal has proven how an idiot cannot get any lower. Do some research before you decide to engage in a convo with me.
And lastly, no ones bragging about women here. All i said was I'm currently dating a somali girl, and that hardly gives the notion that I'm bragging about anything. Just for the record...I get mine all tha time.

I don't need to brag...but ya can hate if ya wanna. Jealous ones always envy!
