If that is the case then why did you rant about my comment. Like i said that is retarded and foolish for anyone to take pleasure in seeing that. Take a look back at the early posters and you will understand my sentiments a lil better.

I don't have to follow anyone or be like anyone else. My parents raised me to be a leader and not a follower. If that wasn't the case then I would've become a product of US prisons like alot of fellow Americans who got into trouble with the law. I'm very strong minded and opinionated.....there's a big difference!
Secondly, I don't refer to myself as a person of one particular race because I'm descended from mixed ethnicity. Take a look back at my posts and you will see for yourself.
And yes you are right that African- Americans and Blacks in the Caribbean were descended from slaves. I'm not disputing that fact. I only mentioned that my parents and their parents were not slaves, but it doesn't mean that I'm not part Caribbean because of the fact now does it?

You couldn't be more wrong in your opinion. I don't generalise...but I do look at the facts and traits within a person's culture and traditions the same way many of you somalis view us Americans and our way of life here in this great nation.
It's one thing to see images on news networks portraying muslims and Islam in a negatively light, but it's another thing to go on a muslim forum and witness first hand the ignorance, hate and pleasure that people here display on a public forum regarding important issues about humanity, religion, politics among other things in the society we live in.
If you were a foreigner on this board you'd understand completely where I'm coming from. I'm not trying to be harsh but the actions and comments that people make here on this board is quite mindboggling at times and helps feed that stereotype stigma that the western world has about islam and muslims in general.
Of course I'm not naive to think that all somalis are like that but there's quite a few of your people here that help support that negative stigma.

Believe it or not I do have respect for Somalis and their culture. I was raised that way to respect other people and not be ignorant. I have no problem with most here except for maybe 3 people who act as extremist or racist as some may call it. For the most part I enjoy the entertainment here but always remember that some of us are very opinionated.
