Hawiye Vows to Help recognise Somaliland

KK, Somaliland should and will defend itself if they are attacked, thats is not a mere thing that can only happen with independance. However, at this circumstances, with them just being rejected again, there is not much Hawiye can do except work with them to defeat the mutual enemy. If we focus on them getting Independance that it just going to create room for division among the hawiye who support it and does who don't.

I among many Hawiye have always supported the S/land's quest for their own country and in due time it will happen but right now, that should not stop them from whopping some tigre arse.

When Xamar resumed peace and stabilitaty the Somali shillings went up in value for the first time in since the fall of the dictator.... so yes We have brught the first and only good thing that ever happened to Somalia economy

You're for the dismemberment of the Somali state?

Somaliland will never be recognized mainly because there's weak or no legal basis for it's secession, otherwise it would've been recognized by now. Some of it's inhabitants in Sool and Sanaad don't want to be part of it. Which requires alteration of colonial borders to include only those regions that are for secession. And if Somaliland can alter it's borders to include clan lands that are with it, why can't other clans seek independance too? This is why no 1 will recognise the entity known as Somaliland. I advice Somalilanders to stop daydreaming, be realistic and re-engage with rest of Somalia in creating a highly decentralised federal state that defers plenty of power to regions.
