Kuwait was the Dubai of the 70's and 80's.
The most modern and developed of the Gulf Countries.
Saddam foked it up.

Today their economy is not liberalized or diversified, they depend on oil.
and after Saddam foked them they have discoverd religion.

Kuwait is more akhwaan these days,
ironically these akhwaan love america and depend on it for thier very survival,
while hating the west at the same time.

I know gurey my father graduated from kuwait university in 1981. Last time we visited he showed us where they used to have bar. It's great how they are more religious now than the rest.

The only Arab food i love is Egyptian. Now if thats not some good food then I dont know what is, offcourse after the Somali bariis and Hilib arii.
