Somalis were divided before the Ethios found a reason to come.......and they are divided now.

You say that all Somalis should be fighting in Xamar now, but look at the way you characterize this whole fighting in Xamar......you made it into a Hawiye Council...Hawiye this, Hawiye that, the Hawiye Resistance etc.........even when Hawiyes are divided.

So you took the thing from ICU to a Hawiye thing now, and you are calling all Somalis to help?

What I'm trying to say is that a lot of ppl are on the sidelines b/c of a lack of trust. You see how this is coming back full circle?

Let me give you an example. Back in '06 when Hiiraale was TFG Def. Minister, he said he was against foreign troops and was not taking sides in ICU/TFG. Then the ICU betrayed him and attacked him when they got some power.

So there's the lack of trust......now a lot of those same ppl took off their cimaamads and are saying that all Somalis should fight the invading Ethiopians.

That's why trust is so important.

If ppl can't trust you, how will they risk their lives?

That's why a lot of ppl are saying they cannot trust the TFG and they cannot trust the ppl fighting against the ICU. That's why a lot of ppl are on the sidelines.........it was political mistakes that made a lot of ppl lose trust.

And as for perception let me tell you what the hawiye perception is... Due to lack of involvement of majority of daroods in The War against Ethiopia.. many hawiye seem to be getting the perception that Darood are still bitter about the 90s and they are pleased to watch hawiye suffer.... So that causes those people to have and even more concervative approch to Darood and Creates a stronger will for hawiyism... If SOmalis stood all up.. the Name would hav been Somali but unfortunately Many Hawiye feel they only have them self to count on against ethiopia because majority of darood would rather have Hawiye Ethinicall cleansed and Somalia becomes apart of Ethiopia then Help TO free Somalia and leave the possibilaty that hawiye power might rise....
