Piercing your belly IS Xaaran according to your intentions(e.g. if u want to get it done coz Beyonces' had it done etc.)<---coz that's imitating the kuf'aar which would consequently make it xaaran...! BUT, IF YOU HAVE IT DONE COZ YOU LIKE IT OR YOUR HUSBAND LIKES IT THEN IT'S not XAARAAN.
