That really was a sorry excuse for an episode, by far the most disappointing one i've seen this season. They did an episode on both Jacob and MIB and somehow fucked it up to the ground. MiB just wants to get off the island, that is all he wants to do. His face mom tries to kill him and his brother turns him into Smokie.

Now why did they go out of their way to create new mysteries? who was the fake mom? how did she get to the island? what exactly is the light? I guess the boys were candidates to replace her but what was so bad about MiB leaving the island. This is a whole new fuckery.

They're just making stuff up as they go, no plot what so ever.

The show lost it's spark a season ago and I just stay tuned in for the sake of it.

Actually last night's episode was pretty good. We have a brand new protector of the island, Desmond is one step away from his heroes gathering. Linus is really just being Linus again. Claire is nowhere to be found again cause she has no purpose and Jack is the man like we always have thought. I really don't want Sunday night to come, I don't want it to end.

It sounds like fans will have to do a lot of rewatching once the series finale airs.

Michael: Yeah. Well, I think that’s a possible response for some people. I have received the finale by degrees. I read the script without the secret scenes, then I read the secret scenes, then I shot the script and each time I’m thinking about "what does this mean?"

When I first read it, the ending wasn’t clear to me – but since then it’s grown more clear and I have to say, grown more satisfying the more I think about it. I expect a mixture of satisfaction and consternation amongst the viewers when it airs. But once they rewatch it, rethink about it and possibly look at the saga again, gradually they will feel like they have just read a good novel -- but you have to chew on it for a while.

Jacob told Jack that they're are protecting it from Smokie... laakiin that light was there before he came along so what is its real purpose?

Im now 95% sure that the ending on tuesday (or wednesday 5am ) is gonna be a disappointment.

Londoner I thought about you when they disposed the Asians in all at once .. Hey the finale is on Sunday night simultaneously everywhere. You'll be able to watch it as we watch it.

ok i'll tell you this,, the light in the tunnel is the light, and because it is the light we need to protect it from someone who doesn't even want it and just wants to get off the island. So you see it all comes together now, there is a light and if you go into it, you come out dark. get it.

I actually had a faint hope that one of the chinks was still alive. Kwon was one of then names on the wall right...and it wasnt crossed out, so I thought one of them couldnt die. But this is Lost and shit changes more often than the English weather.
Yeah, I know man. 5 AM Monday for us and im not an all night person so i'll probably end up missing it lol. And i totally get what ur saying about the light. You see, because i have seen the light...its all clear now.

All i can say is WOW...Just wow. I take back everything negative i have said. True, it didn't explode my mind and the Holy Grail turned out to be a light in a hole but the creators never really claimed the show was about anything we have not imagined before and all the highly absurd expectations can be blamed on the Lost-ies themselves...This show has really accomplished beyond what the creators envisioned-that's a beautiful story about a group of people struggling with live's purpose and finding acceptance and redemption through camaraderie, hard work, and love. I give the ending an A+, the entire series a solid A.

For a lost fan who fell in love with the show because of it's high paced suspense thriller, I can honestly say I'm still lost as I was from the day it started. The whole time I was watching it, the need to have my questions answered just kept growing and growing. The closer it got to the end the more the flash backs kept annoying me, and the more desperate I became. It's been six long years and I have never expeirenced a show like lost and I don't think I will. It's a bitter sweet ending, bitter because I'm not completely satisfied sweet because I am now free just like Jack, Sawyer, Huego, Saiid, Kate, and all the rest can't forget John. My stomache is still knotted up as I write this, all I can say is farewell. I'm not the type of fan that will go and buy memorabilia, dvd's, and watch the whole series again. No, the one thing I realize now is that I should be content and move on just like they did. The true magic of this show was that we were all in the island lost together and now I too need to move on.
