Where do Abgaal live in Galgaduud? Why did the Abgaals politically align themselves with MJ knowing it was not in Hawiye's best interest?

That's a myth. It has no basis.

Not sure if anyone else asked this question since I did not bother to read 23 pages of Q &A but did you always know your logic was twisted?

Re: Ask Twisted_Logic A Question Day
How come you’re very liberal? Were you always like this or did you change after you arrived in America?
I grew up near arjantiina and fagax and juungal and gumareey (yaakhshiid neighbourhoods ) in the late 80s until mid 90s even though I was born in Wardhiigley and there is no district in Muqdisho where you will find as many abgaal as those areas except for kaaran (kaaran is the Motown of Abgaal people) and what I can tell you is that Abgaal people are mostly very traditional and conservative. Hawiye in general are conservative and traditional but Abgaal maybe more so than the rest. Every dugsi quraan macalin and every small time wadaad in xaafada was Abgaal.
You, on the other hand, are very liberal and love your Kentucky Blue and Budweiser. Of course I understand not every abgaal person is going to be conservative like most others.
And I have to ask this second question, how many donkeys did your family had back in Somalia brother? I mean, seriously being Hawiye one of the things we love and value so much is our dameer and any red-blooded hawiye will attest to that. That is why when I become something in the future i want to do everything I can to make sure there is a picture of a donkey and rooster printed on the Somali flag and currency. See, people think we are nomads and a picture of a camel would make better sense but i think geel is associated with everything that is jaahilnimo and jaberti. Dooro/Diiq and dameer is ours even though lately i been hearing no place on earth has more donkey’s than North Galkacyo and Boosaaso. Intaas na kaftanka beesha waaye ciid mubaarak eebow.

Re: Ask Twisted_Logic A Question Day
I am a Liberal because I prefer reason over tradition. You are right, most folks in my clan tend to be conservatives and adhere to tradition and culture without any questions. On the other hand, I tend to reject certain aspects of tradition as it conflicts with my principles.Air Canada wrote:How come you’re very liberal? About donkeys, lol, none. My family is from Mogadishu and our ancestral homeland is the deserts of Galgaduud and Mudug. Donkeys are useful in the muddy grounds of Shabelle Valley. Beyond that it is all camels. I don't think Jabarti have more camels than Hawiye. That is a very wrong assumption. The very name Abgaal connotes a culture of camel herding, same with other Hawiye clans like Gaaljecel.
