We're putting oral history up against science..what is there to preserve? :? If the oral history is correct, science should back it up but if it's false it makes no sense to continue telling your children and grandchildren about something that isn't true. Bedtime stories and fairy tales are meant for kids, not grown ass adults. ;) Honestly, you seem afriad.

Just remember guys that while these are scientific facts, they are devoid of context.

For instance even though most Arabs are J1, according to tradition the Banu Hashim were descended from Ibrahiim and are therefore from the same branch as Jews and Iraqis, so technically speaking a true Banu Hashim should actually be J2.

If we reject that and say no, that's just a story, the Qaydhar=Qedar connection is just a coincidence and Banu Hashim are true Arabs, then we open up oral history to scrutiny. Perhaps Darood was not Banu Hashim, and this connection was made much later due to the similar name with the Aqeeli saint buried in Zabid? Maybe Darood's true lineage is lost, and we will never know who he was, perhaps he was a Levantine Arab?

These sorts of tests answer some questions, but often just create more questions.

 James Dahl u cannot refute scientific analysis by using archaic bin hashim "oral" history to determine dna lineanage! Keep in mind--the human DNA mutates and mixed as humans move or migrate to other lands. Jb1 And Jb2 doesnt make any sense at all. The question is--lets test every living creature, compare dna from creatures who died, come up with a database and boom we will have a profile.

But it futile as genes and dna loose its original value as human evolves. (breed offpsirngs) My meter of measurements are usually by the philosophy of original race. White and Adoon. Black and White. Asian dont count as they are mixture of the two originals. White and Adoons.

While this is true for most of your genes, this is a test of your Y chromosome. Let's say my son married a Somali woman, and his son married a Chinese woman, and his son married a West African woman, his son would have the same Y chromosome as I do, because it isn't recombined every generation, it is just passed from father to son. The only changes to it are mutations, which are basically copying mistakes that sometimes happen. These copying mistakes are then passed from father to son, making a Y chromosome lineage unique and distinct.

Take the test, we can form our own new qabiils:

1. Beesha Babylon (J2)

2. Beesha Hadramut (J1)

2. Beesha Somaliweyn (E1B1)

etc.

You then have to swear allegiance to your new qabiil and disavow ties to the "Jahiiliya" qabiils that ruined our nation.
