I can't stand brazil now, I hate those bastards. They have to win every game 3-0 or 4-0, it's too one sided. I'm supporting Uruguay

I say Portugal will win (maybe at extra time or on penalties) and already predicted their meeting at the final group stage games with Brazil (i expect those 2 to meet again at the semifinal stage) would not be the last time the two sides meet at this world cup.
Who says the Spanish racists will win?

So, the battle of the hair gel finally ended with Spain going to the quatros?
They should call this the Latin World Cup instead.
From this point on, I'll let my DVR record and skim right to the end when I'm watching it.
What a way to take the drama out of the cup.

PORTUGAL were attrocious. It was like they didn't realise they were a goal down.

The better team on that day won if i am being honest. Spain were far superior than their Iberian rivals.
As a Brazil fan, Spain is the team that most scares me now because they look like they are getting better and better with each game they play. But i can take comfort in the fact that 1. their defence is not so strong 2. their offense wastes most of the chances they get. They know how to keep the ball better than any other team, though.

What about holland? Their solid 4-2-3-1 system will crush any team. Brasil defeated Holland in 1998 after penalties, it's pay-back timeAir Canada wrote:GaajoUnit

We beat Holland in 94 at the quarter final stage and we beat them in 98 at the semifinal. This is what happened in 94 (the first time i watched the world cup) when Bebeto came up with one of the most memorable goal celebration.

What changed since 94 & 98? we no longer have big names like Rivaldo and Ronaldo and Romario and Roberto Carlos and Cafu etc but Dunga was there in 94 and he was also there in 98 and still there today.

Brasil defeated Holland in 94 with 3-2, in 98 the beat them after penalties. However holland defeated Brasil, the worldchampion at that time, in 1974. It will not be a game wherein brasil easly wins. On a technical level, the 4-2-3-1 system actually works great for Holland, Van Bommel and Nigel de Jong, both without yellow card, will crush kaka
The problem lies on Maicon, who will defend him? Kuyt will be crushed, the best defence aginst a back is no defence at all.
The weak point of Brasil lies in their defence during a corner, they received two goals from tanzania, lost the 1998 championship because of corners (zidane scored two times) and also against italy (rossi).

I don't even like the Dutch, but I love my boy Sneijder, my favorite player, and he played one helluva game today.
If Holland doesn't win it all, they're cursed
