Qansa,

  I was putting the Degodie application into the USC. We were sponsored by Maxamed Qanyare AFrax.

Ismahan,

Things were wonderful being a Young Hawiye Pioneer settling the new lands. The adventures abounded as we discovered indoor plumbing, telephones, settling in lands were the natives were soft, discovering rivers and seeing the ocean.

Blessed be our Mahdi who lead us out of the dry, harsh lands were only stones grow.

None of family members were affected by the war accept one of my uncles who fought in Kismayo. I just found it he has a bullet in his head a few months ago.

I feel proud whenever i hear about the story of getting us out, because we weren't the only Dhulos family that got rescued like that; Walahi i was told alot of Dhulos families got rescued like that even after Xamar was taken over by the Moryaans; brave motherfockers yo, them young dudes

We stayed in Afgooye for a little bit and left with a whole bunch of other Dhulos families and their militia guarding them at ones headed for Kismayo .."

Oooh Me Too I Was 4 Years Old We lived Far Away From Our Family We Had To walk All The Way To My Grandmothers House From Near Banadir Hospital To somewhere In Medina Over Dead Bodies :( To Be Near Our Family Were Dhulbahante Milatary cammanders With Volunteers Were Rescuing Families And Relatives There Were Many Cars Small And Big My Dad Was In The Middle East And My Mom Was Scared It Was So Bad It Was The Most Scariest Thing In Our Lifes Being Hunted She Made The Decision To Walk To Our Family Instead Of Staying In A Unfreindly neighborhood And Waiting To Be Rescued Because Our House Was Targated 2 Times Before But THe Alarm Went Off And My Mom Was Warned That She Was On The List Off People Getting Battaries If U Know What I Mean She Was Told She Was Getting 18 Of Them   :( I remember something about Bar Hashi I think We ate And Regrouped ThereThen We Were Divided So Family Members In Afgooye Could Be Rescued And also Important People Which Included Some Of My Uncles Were Rescued And Put On The Last Plane To Lift Off From Muqdisho To Rome Italy, After That It was Hardship and suffering Car accidents Loossing Uncles and Siblings (i was crying so much but the only dead person i saw was a pregnant lady we picked up on the road who was lost and left behind her stomach burst open and she was bleeding that woman never left my mind) all the way to Kismayo Then All Over Juboyinka To Gedo To Godey And Wardheer Then To Buuhodle And Finally Lasanod But @ Every Stop We Were Treated As Heroes And Geel Iyo Xoolo nalo Qalay.

I Will Never Live In Muqdisho Again In My Life Acuudu Bilaah Mina Shaydani Rajiim.

baby girl your story brought tears to eyes walahi.  sorry to hear you and many alike went through all that.

we left muqdhisho for glakacyo 2days before the bomings, and left galkacyo for lascanod, were we lived there till we came to the UK. love lascanod to bits. because other parts of somali we went was all shaken up by the war. but lascanod seemed peaceful. people were coming in from the south of the war but in the city, no gun shots, no killings, just peaceful. alhamdulilah. :D shame some people had to ruin that now :(
my mom had to go back twice to get me, my sister, and 1 brother first. then by the time she went back for the third one. she missed him, he was taken to galkacyo, and when she went to to get him from glakacyo, waxay tiri meeshii oo laga kala guuray bay tag tay. she caried when she saw all our family house(s) flatten to the ground. no joke but i wish people who actually took part in that war should be brought to justice. no matter what qabiil they were. i hope they are one day. most of my uncles were killed in that war. long live somalia :rose: :somalia: :rose:
