Nice to see you too...........here's my take on the whole issue:

I never had faith in the TFG and I didn't support them. I am being proven right in that aspect.

After some of the ICU's actions, I became suspicious and skeptical about the motives and intentions of the ICU and I think I was proven right in that aspect considering the amount of ICU members who were double agents or engaged in betraying the movement in every way from making bad poltiical decisions to abandoning young soldiers in the fronts of the battles.

I know for a fact that Sh. Shariif was 100% against antagonizing and invading Hiiraale in Kismayo, so let's not talk about Sh. Shariif, let's talk about the ppl who forced Hiiraale to become their enemy.

Exactly what was the ICU when IndhaCadde and those kinds of ppl are the ones calling the shots? As far as the ICU & Hiiraale, that was one of their biggest mistakes by forcing a neutral guy to take 1 side. That was their fault and Hiiraale's actions were only reactions.

As far as the ICU goes, there were enough ppl within the ICU who betrayed the movement internally while claiming to 'pray Salat Eid in Addis' before the bullets were fired.

At the end of the day, the ICU didn't have the vision, wisdom, foresight, organization, and kala dambeyn to really become a national movement............there were a lot of good ppl involved but there were some shady individuals too. They had a lot of potential but mismanagement has very negative consequences.

nobody is debating that,i agree with you 100% but you would think a man like hiraale who is not new to the political arena would have known that dealing with a fox like ina yeey would only result in his demise.

Mr Gedo, onething you need to understand is no one is perefect and I have never said that Islamic Courts were perfect but as compare to wat has been happening for the last 16 years up to now, i must say that Islamic Courts were the best thing ever happened to our country.

I never liked Indhacade and he was a warlord to me, but a clever warlord who helped Islamic Courts to capture a lot of territories without one single shot. he handed his weapon and gave up his position. So we can not compare to Hiiraale who was arrogant and did not seem to understand the big picture behind why Islamic Courts requested him to join.

Hiiraale had two choices.

1) to sold his country to Meles and work with Somali merceneries such as Yusuf and Geedi.

2) To work with Islamic Courts and be part of Kacdoonka Ummada which would have made him a true hero and leader.


Too bad, Hiiraale chose the first one and now he lost everything. Meles Zenawi knew that Hiiraale does not like Ethiopia, but Zenawi outsmarted and used Hiiraale to help him oust Islamic Courts from Kismaayo since most Sade people were supporing him blindly. That is exactly what happened and now, he was discarded him since they dont need him at all. and there is nothing he can do to stop Yusuf and Geedi, in fact, he is house-arrested as rumors say.It is obvious that he was naive and shortsighted by trusting Zenawi and his slaves, Geedi and Yusuf.

So do you think Sade people need to support and select another man to replace him or you guys will always oppose this government as long as Hiiraale is not given his position back? how about if Geedi appoints another Sade person who is loyal to the government?

Adiga you're forgetting a few things. Waxaa ku heysaa "He refused to work w/ the ICU...." On what timetable? Wiligaa ma maqashay xadiiska "Deg dega shaydaan ayuu ka yimaadaa"..........The ICU didn't exist even for 6 months before they attacked Kismayo.......

Ma cirkee ka soo degteen ICU? Shouldn't they be patient and be willing to work with anybody who is not attacking them? Was it waajib for them to invade the whole country without being even having complete trust in them?

You're trying to compare IndhaCadde to Hiiraale?

If IndhaCadde helped the ICU capture a lot of territories, at the end of the day he did more to dismantle the ICU than anybody else. He is one of the main destroyers of the movement and he was supposed to defend it. Have you heard the saying: "Better the enemy you know than the enemy you don't know". Hiiraale fought the ICU after they attacked him, IndhaCadde backstabbed the ICU when they thought he was going to help them. Big difference.

Hiiraale was not arrogant, however he didn't trust the ICU and did not attack them and refused to allow the TFG to attack them.

If somebody you are already suspicous about attacks you over some fake issues, then it becomes obvious that person was not sincere.

A wise wadaad would have realized that since Hiiraale is neutral and not supporting your enemies, then it makes sense to avoid them from becoming your enemies.

I fail to see how Barre was used wise-man? Did brother fight in Muqdisho for Abdullahi and ghedi? Or did Barre fight in Kismayo against the ICU to capture the city? Is Kismayo not in Barre's hands today? Who got used and who was the user, bal is weeydi! See had Barre fought in the capital and then afterwards lose his position and Kismayo still be in the hands of af-guduud then you could have said he was used. But today BARRE IS THE WINNER!


Your propaganda to make those moryaans into good shiekhs won't work, and I AM GLAD BARRE STOOD AGAINST THOSE MEN!!
