Dawladsade,

What are you saying? That there are more Marehan in Kismayo than Ogaden? Laughing

I never lived in Kismayo, was born in Marka, then moved around a bit untill we settled in Muqdisho, but it's a well known fact that there are more Ogaden in Jubba than Marehan.

Yea Koronto, some of the best advice pops gave me was about women. He told me Women are like kids. They could be pissed one sec, love you the next in a matter of minutes. Teeda kale the reason a lot of marriages fall apart is when the girl says some crazy stuff to the guy and he takes it personal. Your right, you can't take it to heart. Besides waa iska gabar. Laughing Also I'll see what kind of relationship I could salvage with the Habar and sisters. Confused Laughing Laughing

Luq_Ganane,

Just make sure to not go overboard with the wedding preparation. Women love HUGE weddings, where they dish out like $20,000 on the wedding. Just remember that is un-Islamic, keep it close family & friends, do your nikkah at the masjid, then a little celebration for the women ALONE.

Don't start your marriage on the wrong foot!

Kablalax waa sheeko, for the most part Ogaadeen are livestock herders & farmers who have little interest in power sharing, but numbers, cagdheer baa idin ka badan.

Lakin Dawlad, thats only after being provocked. This was a arguement between a Mehri and Ogaden, and they were going back and forth. Teeda kale I just found out two weeks ago that my great grandmother is Makahil, so there is a bit of a soft spot now. Laughing Laughing

Saaxib absolutely. Inshallah I'm doing this for Ilahay's sake, so it has to be done right, and Islamic. All my boys I've seen have those types of weddings, there marriage never lasted. Also, I can't even afford that type of wedding saaxib. I'll do my thing in the Masjid, and I'll get a party room so only her and the WOMEN can do their thing. No mixing. Cool
