I was never what one would call fat, but in the last ten years, I put on about 8 kilos, which, now dining on an Asian diet, I have lost five of over the last four months.

Muslims eat like pigs too, sorry to say. Socieites that have access to large, fatty diets that are relatively inexpensive eat a lot. Not everyone in that society will do so, but many will. This is particularly a problem in the modern world where general affluence has increased.

It is not, however, a religious issue, as the little cont here tries to paint it.
