Liqaye, they raided but never won. They were defeated by Dhulbahante SNA who were well armed and trained than the whole rag tag militia of SNM.

Those weapons are still in the hands of Dhullos and that is why the so called Riyoole never visited the city.

Las Anod's case is different. It is a major city divided into blocks by the subclans of Dhulbahante and it is often a contention of who is to get the major stakes in the daily affairs and adminstration of the city. Bahararsame consider themselves majority in the city, but they are opposed and vice versa.

I see this conflict as within Dhullos, but the political arena is played under Somaliland/Puntland conflict. It is not like that brother.
