you are right the country is under occupation, and the solution isn't with uprising and throwing bombs from among the civilians, but rather an all inclusive talks between the waring fanctions and the gradual withdrawal of the Ethiopan troops from Somalia and their eventual replacement with Arab and African troops.

Jamaal, the "uprising" you talk about isn't an uprising against Tigray, but an uprising against Majerten being in Villa Somalia, so I have no remorse or care as this fighting is not being done for patriotic reasons but for clan.

I was one of the last ppl to beleive Hassan Dahir was qabilist, considering the fact that he has always worked with Al-ithad in Daarood territories.

the guy is human and can make mistakes, but his bias towards his tribe has became apparant when he refused to let the ICU takeover Indhacade's illigal administration in Marko as recommended by Sh. Shariif.

There was a BBC report in which he compared Indhocade's Lower Shabelle admin to Puntland or Somaliland Admins, claiming that the ICU had no grounds for its takeover, when infact the ICU had taken over Jowhar which had more ligitimate admin.

look the sheikh could have been playing politics at the time, as he didn't wanted to undermine his power base (HG Ayr allies) but surely he could have exerted more pressure on Indhocade to step down to win the Somalis heart and do away with the suspicion.

Apart from these mistakes, Hassan Dahir still commends the support of many non-Hawiye Somalis, and I am sure he has learned his lessons from the msitakes which had led to the ICU defeat, or does he?

I have heard from very reliable sources and Shayukh (even from his own clan) that when Dahir Aweis invaded Puntland in the '90s, he said a statement that "All the people here are Kuffar, and their land, money and women are all HALAL for us". Allah knows if this is true as I'm surely not going to attribute that to him, but I'm going to try to get the tape and confirm that he said it. Anyway this allegation, along with his ridiculous coddling of his nephew, gave me deep suspicians about this mans sincerity.
