Not true. I voted that Barre Hiraale is NOT a warlord, but did not comment earlier today. Warlords do not spare civilians.

To be honest, Daroods don't have warlords. We have political and military leaders.

Morgan and Ina Jees were the only Darood warlords and they have both been chased out.

1) you should have no less than 5 operating Isbaaros (revenue raising checkpoints)

2) you should be in the export business Export(dhuxul and wadaado) import (Jaad and weapons)

3) you should belong or allied to the Hawiye tribe

therefore Barre Hiiraale doesnt qualify as a fully fledged warlord. However, he had a charcoal exporting venture and was allied to the Hawiye tribe during the JVA years, but had since abandoned these to persue other personal hobbies like Quule harvesting and bungee jumping from Baardheere bridge.
