Daarood are some strange people , they even belive horses have clans. wether be it in Sanaag, oogo, or Hawd, somali horses are different in sizes depending on the vegetation of the region.

The horses from Saxlaly are western Oogo breed as opposed to Nugaal ponies, i have seen better horses in Galgudud during the crowning of the Habar Gidir Ugaas.

But then again Kuumbos think horses are a Daarood sub-clan.

Unclebin, where do you think our horses came from? They were imported from Arabia long time ago. Sultan Ali Shire used to profit from this business. He had clients from England and Italy.
