''It was after that fact, that Ismail Jimale and Hussein Bod and other Mudulood leaders (most who had family and business ties to HG) mobilized the Mudulood people and the rest is history. Funny how history repeats itself eh?''

It is really unfortunate for someone who claims to be Mudulood to mitigate the brave deeds of Mudulood men, who had the audacity to stand up against an oppressive regime.

It was halgamaa Ismaciil Jimcaale Cosoble and other prominent Hawiye men that started the USC in which Ismaciil Jimcaale was chosen as the leader.

It was Ismaciil Jimcaale that asked the businessman Ali Mahdi to pay the largest share of the money to bring Aideed from India into Ogaden region(Mustaxiil) in order to prepare the military struggle.

After Ismaciil Jimcaale died, it was Dr.Bood who took the leadership and attacked the oppressive dictatorship openly in Mogadishu, risking his own life and that of his family.

---

It is indeed unfortunate for someone who does not know his own history to buy the PR of people who want us to believe Siad Barre was the best leader Somalia had. People like Luq and DS.

SXB, you are very lost. Ismail Jimale was my second uncle ( from my mom side) and I honestly belief that him joining the USC was the single greatest miscalculation we as people have ever made. Also, this idea of constructing Mr.Bod as dare-devil is very silly   MSB was a lunatic no doubt. But if you ask me he was easily the lesser of the three evil which include Aideed and AY. You really need to open your eyes sxb. You have been fed too many HG propoganda!

Also, ask yourself, what was our position during the regime and what was our position after the regime? Put your hand on your heart and give me your honest answer.

Has anybody noticed how Somaliweyn manages to draw everything back to MSB? He had nothing to do with this converstion. The man is dead and has been for a long time, let him rest in peace!

That being said, I've seen people from every clan in Somalia, even the people who hated him the most praise him. Anyways stick to the point of debate between you and Twisted and don't use dead men to make your points.

Lets just bring this thread to end. It is apparent no-one is going to change any-ones viewpoint even after facts are presented. So with that, let history be the judge!

''and I honestly belief that him joining the USC was the single greatest miscalculation we as people have ever made''

You wanted him to end up like Jen Kulmiye Afrax, sitting next to Barre while his own people endure the heavy burden of the oppressive regime of Barre?

Thank god, Ismaciil Jimcaale had the audacity to stand up and tell the dictatorship: ''Step aside and let the people elect their own government'' History will remember him, and truely his actions then have made him a great man who wrote history.

Is it also a coincidence why so far only Northeastern and Southwestern have backed you up in this debate?

The first thinks that your kind of reasoning is instrumental to their cause (Late Geedi, Hussein Adde-style) the other thinks your kind of reasoning can absolve the dictator from the atrocities commited against Somali civilians.

So I'm not surprised at all, you are just pushing ahead their interest while neglecting your own one.

---

Luq, read the debate carefully, it was T-L that brought up the uprising of Mudulood in 91 and its causes.

Somaliweyn,

I mentioned that I had a conflict of interest and wouldn't discuss the inter Xamar politics. However when you unnecessairly go on your daily villafying campiagn on the marxum I stepped in. That being said I'll leave by agreeing on your point: Muloduud are better off today then they were under the dictatorship.

SXB, you are very lost if you honestly believe I will need some-one to back me up in debate. Secondly, Mudulood people were never targeted till we fell for the HG tricks and started waging wars. That's why i say you are diluted. The same people who were killing people in suuqa xoolaha and other place in mogadishu are the same freaking people who kill our clan elders and business people simply to incite some mudulood uprising. If you cant appreciate that reality, i am sorry but you need your brain checked. Honestly.

Somaliweyn and Twisted Logic argument just shows how divided we are.Another disaster for Mudulood with 90 % of Wacbuudhan supporting the TFG 60% of Harti Abgaal only supporting the TFG and only 40 % of Waceysle supporting TFG.Ujeedeen i have no idea who they support but i know Xawaadle is also pretty divided. :(

Mudulood is divided again. :( . Unity of Mudulood must be accomplished otherwise we will perish.
