First misunderstanding Cayn has nothing to do with Aynabo
It used to be the buhoodle district of Togdheer on the southern tip
and still Buhoodle = Cayn and Cayn = Buhoodle district .
And yes dhulbahante do reside in Sanaag as well.
But does not give them right to occupy the name for their propaganda.

I dont know how Dhulos made it to Sanaag after all the barriere is Sacad Yoonis in the middle of Sanaag and Sool? but the clans in Sanaag are alot friendlier to each other then we admit.. Darod And Isaaq nomads help each other during jidaal season ( cool dry periode ) the territory is not so strict then so any man can cross the land for his camels... , but no doubt they reside there not only southern but Central Sanaag as Cartan Boss.

Thats wrong.

Cayn refers to Caynaba and all of it's surroundings including Buhoodle, Caynaba being the focal point. Dhulbahante used to be reer Caymeed in the past, but today they're mostly reer Odeed.

In the same way they use to live in Sanaag in the past in sizable number but today they concentrate themselves in the two towns of Lascanood and Buhoodle and their respective surroundings.

The name "people of SSC" implies that they're sole residents of these regions which is a big fallacy. Sanaag is lived by Biciide, Sacad Yonis, Uduraxmiin and ofcourse the Gadhweyn siiba Xaamud Tuurwaa :D along with Warsangeli. Dhulbahante is a very small minority there. In Sool you have Dhulbahante along with Sacad Yonis and Muse Abokor clans of Cali Barre, reer Yoonis, Biciide, Cumar. While Buuhoodle has a big Maxamed Abokor population.

They can use the name SSC (it used to be SSCH but they dropped the H) provided they join the people of these regions under the umprella of the REAL SSC.

Why do they go to these lengths when they can simply refer to themselves as the people of DHULBAHANTE clan?

That is true in a way, Caynabo has more HJ subclans> like Cumar Jibril, Reer Yoonis, Cali Barre, and Biciide while the rer Iidle alone dominates Garadag/

Gurey wallahi we should start investing in Caynabo city its a great city... the reer Yoonis are the only ones that keeps investing in Caynabo at the moment!
