Re: No Good Somali Girls, I beg to differ!!!
I don't plan to be involved in politics so I'm not worried about that.
I'm more interested in a woman who can raise kids with the values I want them to have.
That type of girl would fit into my family regardless of what qabiil the mother is.
Besides, when you live with your wife on a daily basis she is at the core of your household and you will know each other WAY BEYOND qabiil....it's not like you're gonna be saying to yourself: "I'm kissing a Reer Hebel girl"
This woman will be carrying your seed in her womb Qabiil is the last requirement.

Gedo,
I agree but it boils down to certain moments.
Now say if the Quule Nostra Family was meeting and she was from the Caano Boole Mafia, would you send her away or conduct your Quule Nostra meet in her presence ?

No, she would be following her husband....I have seen HG lady who is married to Marexaan talking about Kismayo like: "Anakoo Marexaan ah..."
:-)

GedoBoy,
But would she say the same thing if it was Iljeex vs. the Quule Krew ?
Kadarre,
Saxiib, you have to prepare for this.

Aw252,
This just shows that you are involved in Qabiil issues too seriously it's clouding your Real-Life Judgment.

Abdiwahab, Do you really think it will always be about reer-hebels fighting? Times are changing if my children bring a midgaa/madihibaan I would not care, nor do I care what clan my wife is, because marriage is not about tolka nagta ma lagu hor shirikaraa.

GedoBoy,
Well, to each his own. Anywayz, I would have taken your sermon well if u diversified your pick.
SadeBoi,
Rer hebel and hebel may not be fighting but the uneasy/enemity will not end anytime soon. Our children's generation may be different but we must acknowledge the realities of the times

Abdiwahab, you can change your mindset and I think our generation is changing for the better, now I don't think our parent will but we can and not with that pessimistic mindset you have.
Question:
Would you accept any clan your kids bring?

Aw252,
That's how it worked out but I was open personally & my kids are open.
I have relatives that have married all over qabiils so no big deal here.

Re: No Good Somali Girls, I beg to differ!!!
sadeboi,
Basically, I remember how the jump off started in November 1989, the problems and difficulties between my adeeryaal and the Darood relatives of ours. It was not pretty when you have first cousins who were beefing and insulting each other on qabiil in the same house. There was no love or trust among each other.
So why have that tension or problems again ? Why watch yourself around your relatives because they are from another qabiil ?
