Why would I marry someone whom I'm not happy with in the first place? I'll be happy at my wedding 4 sure.

Which proves my point. There are girls who party like crazy and shake their azzes like there was no tomorrow only to act so dead at their own weddings? I know they aren't shy so the only other obvious reason is they're not happy.

Thats true Helwaa. The setting is wrong. You have the bride & groom set up in what looks like a stage and everyone staring !!!!!!!

They are suppose to just sit in tables and mingle and interract with everyone. Plus people are suppose to be having fun whatever that is but they all sit and stare. I once took cadaan friend of mine and she was confused. And kept asking questions. I am like this is our culture/ tradition lol

The role of an ideal muslim husband depends on the individual, that's what I think..and my gorgeous dad is an example...he treats my mom like a queen, she treats him the same way...I believe they are soul mates..manshallah...hope to find that one true love
That's Ideal alright. It's not that hard to find a decent person, the rules are pretty simple for every guy to follow. Girls should have high standards when it comes to relationships and shouldn't settle for less.....Many Somali girls settle for less, and it's no wonder they look so sad and depressed on their wedding days, it's like they know what they're in for.
Nobody should less for less. Not you, not me and not the man down the road.

Anyway, its a pretty decent list Helwaa has provided. I am already a good man (I'm led to believe) but time and time against I've been labeled boring and uncharacteristic. So I had change my game plan and act like a bit of a cunt now and then.

Not a bad boy. Just someone who isn't a good man.

I hate bad boys and the whole image and try not to be labeled that at all cost.
She knows what she married. And others can tell also by her gloomy face....Shouldn't a girl be happy at her wedding? If you know what ur in for....What's to be happy about.
maybe the are less exuberant because they are nervous being in front of all those people.
