As you know when a matter is disputed one goes with the majority of scholars on the matter and I never said that Imam Nawawi is not a Shiekh Rahimahu'Allah

However it has been clearly stated that one should not lower ones garment below ones ankle...

Sister why is it that you discuss s subject in which u have no authority not any proof (i am taking about proof opon Quran and Sunnah)
And again do not speak ill of the scholars as you are in no position to judge them as you have clearly proven yourself upon misguidance.


I get the impression you are one of those people whom alters the deen in a light that is acceptable to them.

The evidence from the text is clear, wearing the garment above the ankles is clear cut. Also by Ijma'aa of the the ummah the beard is wajib.

Subahana'Allah Akhii just like the two Ashaba's whom made fun of the religion and the Prophet informed them that whilst they thought they were joking they had indeed taken themselves out of the Religion.

Wearing a garment above the ankle is the Sunnah of Rasulullah . That is sufficient for us to follow. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best


Furthermore:-This is especially important during salah, for another hadith says, "Allah does not accept the salah of a man who drags his lower garment." [Narrated by: Abu Dawud, with an isnad which is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim; vide Riyad al-Salihin]

Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, it's actually wajib daleels have been given!! The major ulema agree on this. Brothers who wear the beard are masha Allah, following the ordainments of Allah is the best way to go.
