Well there are some reer xamar who are dark skinned. They thought I was one of those.

I'm not only full Geledi, I am the same subclan of Geledi (Goobroon) for 2 full generation. Me, my mom and grandmothers are all Goobroon.

Infact the only place I step out of Geledi is my great grandmother who was Hadame (Rahanweyn) and even her mother was Geledi Goobroon.

it is hard understanding for me. but it does sound good on chicks not on guys though

Reer waaqoyi looks good on both genders, I say this because I'm used to my females friends speaking it.

Depending on who's speaking it, I can find it hard to understand 8) like one of my friends I understand, and the other I tell her to speak English.

Afka Reer Xamar - makes me happy, and boys who speak it make me laugh I'm speaking about the proper Reer Xamar people though. My waaqoyi friend also said its good with chatting up girls, she said reer xamar (all southern people) guys would go Abaayo macan, quruxley, I live for you and the usual guys say to get girls

I speak proper southern way, my friend find it hard to understand me I try to teach her though. I cannot understand some of the Darood, some speak like reer waaqoyi to me. Even the HG who are from Mudug area is difficult for me to understand at times, and all I can see is an over working molars, they keep snapping with the somali....
