Re: Somali Dudes have it EZY in Ramadan
My mother is sick and my sisters are in their early teens (I don't trust them alone in the kitchen). They spend alot of time @ the library and school...one of them is in a play and the other is in a student leadership organization. So I gave both of them off for this month. I cook everything and leave the cleaning/setting the table to my brothers...then I pack my afur N head to work. My sisters will be home lil b4 afur...so after afur they clean everything. I come home after everyone leaves to the masjit for Taraawiix...watch a lil T.V. or serve the net N Chilax

Ladies, we appreciate you're cooking of sambus, bur etc during ramadan.
Besides you will get ajar for it, so stop complaining.

Haa walaahi.. That is true... Alxamdullilah my brothers used to help out aswell..ms.nalia wrote:Munique05 wrote:Majority of yall ( 98%) dnt cook afuur, so fastin for u dudes is so ezy, while us chics got so much stuff to do..we go to school, sume of us work n dan come home n start helpin the mama's make affur or in sume cases do da whole afuur
I think you teach men how to treat you.
So, if you let your brothers sit on their asses while you cook...then thats how they will behave. If you tell em to get off thir lazy asses and do something, they most likely will cause they really have no choice. So, dont act like the victim here sweetie.
My brothers cook, clean and they show me and my mother respect, perhaps you should follow my lead.
