I honestly tho I was in a Arab/Asian forum, when I came across this thread, they have threads on 'tips on how to beat your wife'..

The one thing our culture triumphants over others is the respect and equality somali women are given. Please leave off these notions that have nothing to do with our culture nor diin.

A crazy bunch of inlaws who interfere in your marriage and your bloody mother in law is always on the phone putting bad ideas in your wife's head and all of a sudden she is no longer listening to you and runs everything by her mother !

All of a sudden she begins to make small threats about taking your children and when she argues with you, she runs to her folks. Not to mention she takes the kids as a weapon of choice.

Then the dam.n family asks you to divorce her etc. Strike that THREATEN that you may have to divorce her.

I know few divorced women..and 90% of the time..nimanka baa xumaa..though some of the wives shared some of the blame..
