Ethnocentricsm is very rampant in Waqooyi; no coincidence that most of the inhabitants in that region hail from only 2 clans. Diversity is in the south. A small town like Diinsoor in Bakool region is settled by 5 or 6 different clans including Maay speakers & even Dabare who speak an Oromo dialect.
