Young Hyper, making a mess is the only way
...It doesn't feel like I cooked any if the kitchen is not in disarray, you just have to make sure to clean it up afterward. I am assuming that you don't have hired help at home? We grew up with people cooking and cleaning for us so we were spoiled. When we came here, my mother forced us to learn to cook and it served us well. In University, I lived away from home...sometimes, I got lazy and ate out, at other times, I'd be broke and I would have to improvise with whatever mismatched items I found in the kitchen but overall I did alright

A little tip from the "booyaso" who happens to cook a lot;
If you want the flavor of Green Pepper or barbarooni as we call..Just use the blender and make it a puree together with tomatoes and the onion after you saute'ed it. Use 1/3 or 1/2 of the barbarooni...
