other than being a complete waste of space what's your purpose of being on this site other than goading somalis?

Because many somalis still insist that Somalia won the Ogaden War in 1977,but they dont have proofs. So I am very angry for that.

If somalis can show me proofs that Somalia won the war,I will leave this forum.May you show me proofs that Somalia won that war?

If you show me 1,just one proof which say Somalia won that war,you will never see me again.

I have been here 3 years and nobody can show me any proof,Why???????,explain me that,if Somalia won the war, sure you have many alien and somali sources about this victory, why can I not see those sources, books, articles????

did'nt we get through the same old bullshit in the other thread? You keep saying the same old thing over and over again like a parrot.

Ok,you are right but I still see the same somali idiots saying:Somalia won the war in 1977,but without proofs, what is going on here.

Let me show you this:

Joseph Goebbels(a nazi leader) says: If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.

You understand my now,If I dont critize this lie ,the somali people and many here believe that Somalia really won the war, I can not accept that.

Ochoa was a used Communist condom worn by Premier Brezhnev and the rest of the Russian communists

"At dawn on July 12, 1989, Arnaldo Tomas Ochoa Sanchez "El Moro", was executed by a firing squad at the military base known as "Tropas Especiales" in Baracoa, West Havana. A widely accepted account tells how he asked not to be blindfolded and to give the command to the firing squad himself. Both wishes were granted. Another version details the Chief of the Military's Special Troops, Gen. Jose Luis Mesa Delgado, putting a final bullet in Ochoa's head. Everything is on video. A statement in the Granma newspaper the next day announced his execution to the Cuban public. His wife was later informed of an unmarked grave in Havana's Cemetery."

That was the fate of your idol

more like worthless flower. Listen luis, today if i and you have an argument and we fight on the street 1 on 1 man to man and i beat your cuban ass and you call your papa and your entire family for backup, it does not make you a tiger. It makes you look like a flower.

man to man cubans are just pussies. You needed your papa the soviet union to give your orders and protection. One on one, you nor the dirty eithopians or the soviets are a match for us.

when 1 person fights 3 guys at the same time he's the real tiger. Now run along and crawl back to the rock you came from.

Yes,right and I am Santa,Look at this:

As expected, in early February 1978 Ethiopian and Cuban forces launched a two-stage counterattack toward Jijiga. Unexpectedly, however, a column of Cubans and Ethiopians moving north and east crossed the highlands between Jijiga and the Somali border, bypassing Somali troops dug in around the Marda Pass. Thus, the attacking force was able to assault the Somalis from two sides and recapture Jijiga after two days of fighting in which 3,000 Somali troops lost their lives. Within a week, Ethiopia had retaken all of the Ogaden's major towns. On March 9, 1978, Siad Barre recalled the SNA from Ethiopia.

A retreated?

http://www.onwar.com/aced/data/oscar/ogaden1976.htm

Following Moscow's decision to support Addis Ababa, Ethiopia received massive amounts of Soviet arms. Along with Soviet military advisers, about 15,000 Cuban combat troops also arrived. By early 1978, this aid had turned the tide of war in Ethiopia's favor. By March 9, 1978, when Siad Barre announced the withdrawal of the Somali armed forces from the Ogaden, the Somali military had lost 8,000 men--one-third of the SNA, three-quarters of its armored units, and half of the Somali Air Force (SAF).

We destroyed a half of Air Force and almost the tanks.

Is this a retreat?

This is a debacle.

But I understand you and the rest of somalis, these are not somali sources,so you dont have any reasons to believe me,please let me show you them.

Please dont cry for my Somalia when you see these articles.

Ali Galaydh a somali writer:

http://wardheernews.com/Articles_06/may ... bdoon.html

He says: somali forces were no match for cubans.I am so sad.

But I have more,Does anyone want to see more articles?

Yes,yes,Sr please I am little cuban boy who wants to know how we destroyed the somalis in 1978.

http://www.somaliawatch.org/archivedec01/020103201.htm

However, the moment of truth did not arrive for the ruling elite until the society as whole was subjected to a needless, humiliating defeat they wrought at the hands of Somalia's erstwhile enemies: the Ethiopians-in the 1977-1978 Ogaden debacle

I dont see here anything about tactical move, this is a debacle and humillianting defeat.

Another somali source:

http://wardheernews.com/articles/june/7 ... eldoon.htm

Ismail Ali Ismail says:

Ali Samatar was privy to and a key player in all that happened behind the curtains in that crucial period when huge and more powerful forces were arrayed against us comprising Soviet generals and materiel as well as South Yemeni and Cuban forces beside the Ethiopians. After our defeat – we prefer to call it withdrawal – an Ethiopian colleague said to me jokingly, “ Ismail, we taught you Somalis a lesson” and I replied to him, also jokingly, “Yes, but the lesson was in Russian, not in Amharic”. He looked at me and simply walked away.

He says:the lesson was in russian, but he forgets something the lesson was in russian and spanish(Cuba),Cosa mas grande la vida chico

Somali articles:

http://www.alldalka.com/Ethiopian%20Inv ... omalia.htm

Though the majority of the world was supportive to the Somali rights, Somalia lost the war politically and militarily on its final round. The entire western bloc gave a mild support to Somalia which was incomparable to the strong support Ethiopia received from Warsaw. Moreover, the main organization in Africa, OAU, sided with Ethiopia. Expectedly, Kenya also sided with Ethiopia, and even forced during the war an Egyptian cargo plane that was caring ammunitions and other military equipments to Somalia to land in Nairobi.

Somalia lost the war on the military field.
