It seems like you've got the definition of the word 'faqash' wrong.
He was the finance minister during the booming years of Somalia.
Whether he lived in big houses or not doesn't matter, he worked for his wealth. That doesn't mean he can be classed as a faqash.

A faqash is anybody that was working with the regime at the time of the suffering of my people in general. If you could recall history proper, you would know that he has left the regime by this time thus is not what you have called him to be.

Why do people forget that many isaaqs like all other Somalis celebrated and were happy at the 1969 coup? Just because they were later in opposition to that regime no need to forget that isaaqs are wadani people and not hungry for leadership - many supported the coup because they thought things might get better. Just because they were proved wrong don't make them faqash, the faqash are those who persisted with the regime even when it became oppressive whatever their clan.

Silanyo, Tuur, and the rest of the SNM leadership were heroes who went against their own personal interest to defend their people from tyranny and stood up to a regime that created a climate of terror and fear in the whole country.
