sxb you not right to compare the current disaster to a once booming young country and then say they balance out

as i said, it is as if some people are blinded from what is happening right now in Somalia, some kid might have starved to death in a street corner somewhere in Xamar and we are discussing why the Kacaan failed to export other goods than livestock

amazing really, maybe its because you are enjoying your western life too much to care or even pay attention to what you say about people prior or post Kacaan Somalia :|

Please care to explain.

Cali-Gab,

Don't be offended huuno  Adeer Sii'laanyo was a big time Faqash..This is how he was Faqash:

If you read properly what I posted...People call Faqash other people for two reasons...Either the person is Daarood or he worked with Kacaankii Barakaysnaa...So adeer Sii'laanyo was big time Faqash by the latter category..Are you denying that he was a minister for so many years and lived in one of those big houses?

How about you? Bal adeer Sii'laanyo ha inoo dambeeyee is caddee adigu? Yaa ku dhalay? That is if you are 22 yrs old..

It seems like you've got the definition of the word 'faqash' wrong.
He was the finance minister during the booming years of Somalia.
Whether he lived in big houses or not doesn't matter, he worked for his wealth. That doesn't mean he can be classed as a faqash.

A faqash is anybody that was working with the regime at the time of the suffering of my people in general. If you could recall history proper, you would know that he has left the regime by this time thus is not what you have called him to be.

As far as you're question about who gave birth to me is concerned, niin rag ah ayaa ii dhalay and no i'm not 22.

Why do people forget that many isaaqs like all other Somalis celebrated and were happy at the 1969 coup? Just because they were later in opposition to that regime no need to forget that isaaqs are wadani people and not hungry for leadership - many supported the coup because they thought things might get better. :!: Just because they were proved wrong don't make them faqash, the faqash are those who persisted with the regime even when it became oppressive whatever their clan.

Silanyo, Tuur, and the rest of the SNM leadership were heroes who went against their own personal interest to defend their people from tyranny and stood up to a regime that created a climate of terror and fear in the whole country.
