I don't think they'll go Hargeisa, waayo the people of Hargeisa love their peace, and they push for governance and peace, my Aunt lived there for a while, and they really do have a different mentality from the people in Xamar. I don't know if its desperation or something else, but the people in Xamar (most) will support every tuug fellow clansmen, iyo anybody that has the power, no matter the haq-daro and wasqnimno of the person. (That is major problem in itself) Add to the fact every 'Mooryaan, tuug, ciyaal suuq' head to xamar you have anarchy at its finest. Then there is 'outside' element that doesn't want peace in Xamar, and rightly so because if 'Xamar' doesn't move Somalia doesn't move.

The people in Hargeisa, don't care about the fact that he is 'reer hebel iyo hebel' and value and want peace and government. I don't see how Al-Shabaab can overtake there.

I am not going to generalize but let us just say a lot of people did not want a government in Xamar all those years because they were occupying properties that belonged to other people.

egyptian peacekeepers from the 1990s, TFG, Uganadan peacekeepers, and the Somalis there also have little kiosks on our grounds and sell stuff there

and in the pictures my cousin took in xamar september of 2006... a woman and her children were there too
