The dervishes never defeated the British the first was in burco and that’s when the first dhagaxtuur started, the pro dervish isaaq sultan sultan nur and the other leader called cali darwiish started the first dhagaxtuur , and the last battle was the one where xaji suudii shabeele got killed aun
Iebarahien buqul obssiye seed fitarawwii uu xabashi aha suudi shabeel and iebrahein boqol died fighting both isaaq mujaheeds while the duuflaal fled into nugaal.

the dervishes was a way of rule for 21 years it existed most it had its golaha sare it had its own gudoomiyaal it had its own leaders it had its own foot soldiers , the dervishes where busy most of the time to kill loot and kidnap and steal camels from other clans 2 battles against the british. And inbetween that the dervishes attacked the warsangaly in maakhir the attacked several time the ciidagalle they attacked several times the habaryunis and the habarjeclo they attacked the mejeerteens. It was a way of rule and lots of people where not that backwards as the dhulabahnte to follow this alcoholic mad mullah into battle even, the dhulbahantes traditional leaders where killed by the dervishes garaad cali was killed by the dervishes he even send a letter to the British, saying his people where hijacked by a crazy lunatic duuflaal. The dervishes before they could response they killed the poor garaad. There is even a poem cali dhuux made saying dhulbahantes stop being footsoldiers.

and duuflaalkii ina cabdulle xassan fled in to nugaal. After dagaalki hagoogane started which led the collapse of the dervishes and the death of ina calacaal xassan who fled to iimeey when xaji waraabe commanding 5000 men and let them into battle.
Did some one read the book written by henry rayne the same book was manipulated by aw jamac cabdi ciise for his own jeberti cause kitaabka taarikhda darawiishta is nothing but a copy pieces of Jeberti excrement made and articulated by the old fart cuqdad ridden hayaag old man called aw jamac cabdi ciise daahir, he even went as far as using al xaji muse igaarre picture to Shape the statue of the mad mullah so much for jeberti pride.

Darwiish history started in burco by isaaq finished by isaaq in 1921, mad mulla buried by al xaji warabe in iimey

dawladii kacaanka indeed tried to fool us grant look at this

BG,

You have me associated with a colonial past I simply don't belong to.

I don't knock all Dooro history. The MJs have always taken advantage of education and are ok in my book.

Alls well that ends well, which describes none of the heroic myths you mentioned. Resistance does not equal success, nor has it ever permanently profitted the Somali people. You make it sound like rebellion is an end in itself.
Astute leaders and cooperative institutions would have accomplished much more for the Somali people than the militarists you mention.

Divided? Please tell me a time when Somalia was ever united?

Babygirl the mad mullah used you , and your people for his own agenda Dhulbahante had one man in the dervishes and they call him ismacil mire and he was a cook for the dervishes waligii dagaal ma gallin

the isaaq mujaheeds died fighting why did the mad mulla the duuflaaal flee with his big but all the way to nugaal , and afterwords he was chased by the garxajis warrior xaji waraabe and wuxu ku bakhttiyee iimeey, odaygi xuma eeh afka qadhmuuna eeh hayaag na taarikh idin sameyn wayee. Taaladii ina igarre aya ina cabdulla xasan idinka dhigay

while the isaaq mujaheeds died at the air bombardments iebrahien boqol and xaji suudie shabele when the duuflaal said cumaadii carraraya ayay caddan ka keeneen , who was the guy who said ina calacaal xassanow futtada buuran la carran awliyo maha wa diyarad walugu dhiimanaya and the mujaheed died there.

Its true no one can rewrite history ina cabdulla xassan was chased all the way to iimeey and there where no British there , babygirl markad adigu ku faanaysiid ina cabdulla xasan oo ogaden ah why cant i say xaji waraabe my garxajis adeer ayaa ii barbar jooga. Rag na wa laaye qaar na wa noolaye qaarna dhulkoodii bu xalaal ku qaatay

If you want habarawal well the duuflaal went as fart making poems about cali jamac haabiil the habarawal poet private parts , he first asked cali maxa lugu haye markasu lugu yidhi sayidii cali jamac dhobbar yar bu ilka ku leeeyahay, that’s when the duuflaals was bashing all the Somali subclans saying

Intii habarmejeerteen iyo halamash naaga leh
Hoyga diinta iyo hanad shiirshoore leh wuu idin amanay because u where his beautiful naag.
Ghadh hungurii galay habaryoonis iyo nin harrar jooga leh
Siidu awrku heriyada ugu marro hoogay arab bal eh
Himilo been been ah iyo hadal an wax tarrin habarawali bal eh
Hilibo qudhuna gadabuursigi huursan jiiray baleh
Ciisaha bakhtiiga hiiigaya iyo haqay miidgaan bal eh
And last but not least he said

Huurale cali jamac iyo hodhaq dameer bal eh

He took cali jamac haabil the habarawal poet ayuu qabiilada la barbardhigay

Sadly, this is the biggest misconception within the Somali society and persists against all historical odds. It has become fashionable and in fact a sad habit to distort history and look at the Somali history as if it was a unitary group held together by common laws and rules. The entire spectrum of the Somali society is guilty of furthering this false counterproductive revisionism of history which has serially killed any hopes of rational and accurate understanding of the Somali experience. In the history of the Somali race, there has never been any system that has comprehensively ruled the Somali people. Not even the European colonizers.

The 21 years of histrionic presentation of the Somali people as a monolithic group that has always shared a common history and experience evinced by an exaggerated and distorted arrangement of isolated and greed/selfish driven struggles by some very certain and exclusive men as some sort of nationalists and heroes has not only falsified our national psyche but hinders any objective and reasonable understanding of the Somali experience. Poems like the popular Soomaali baan ahay
which makes the over-the-top pronouncements such as:

Saan la kala jaraan ahay
Summadi ay ku wada taal,
Rag baa beri I saanyaday
Anoo xoolo soofsada,
Xil midnimo anaa sida,
Soomaali baan ahay

I am like Saan [hide] split into two
That still bears the credentials
Some men once disintegrated me
Whilst I tended to my flocks
[But] the obligation of unity I [still] carry
I am Somali

endures to poison and misconstrue our experience.

As Millers has rightfully proclaimed in his now classic After The Fall

Why do I ever think
of things falling apart
were they ever whole?

An honest and more analytical understanding of the Somali experience will go a long way in analyzing our sadistic situation.
