MARRIAGE IN ISLAM

the Husbands obligations is to bear the financial responsibility of the family in a generous way so that his wife may be assured security and thus perform her role devotedly.

The Qur'an, chapter 4 (An-Nisa), verse 34: “ Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great

prophet mohamed saw says in relation to this verse.

“The most perfect believer in faith is one who is the best of them in good conduct. The best of you is one who treats best with his wife among you."

not temperory marriages for the conveniences of saudi men sanctioned by wahabi philosophers.

mr new moderator are u accusing me of having a multi-nick in zoomalinet? that is serious allegation, because it is a lie. are u saying i'm somali star? that is a lie. come clean it is ramadan. raise the white flag and admit to respect the original sunni suufi muslims who have done many positives for islam than trying to defend in vain saudi wahabi philosophy.

But it seems The saud petro dollar publication's are deafning us these days especially youngster's.
you use common and islamic sense and ibn taymiya was a rebel who didnt show respect towards all other sunni scholars and died in prison while today some deviant groups (fragmentation of wahabists) follow him these days to the letter. even the way they coined the word salafi is deceitful.

notice when the former wahabis who fragmented into a dozen sects argue with each other heatedly, each sect tries to use ibn taymiya as their source of defence to quell the other.

That video is basically fabrication from shia's and sufi's who were angered that much of their practices dictated by their souls were deemed to be bidca. Anybody can make a video making false claims against ibn tammiyah and sheikh albani, claiming they made these statements. Weres the daleel
nobleman what practices? misyar is practised by salafis and muta weddings practised by the shias are the same. y is one bidca & not the other? hypocrism?

u either scream fabrications, keep silent when confronted with facts or even beyond belief, u exihibit ignorance in what ur salafi sect beliefs r. you didnt know salafis practising misyar (temperory marriages) by a fatwa from sheikh bin baz and hopelessly attempted to state that it was only a shi3a practice (the hypocrisy here is the salafis call the shii3a mutaa bidca while their identical misyar has no basis in the koran or in the sunnah). learn more of their hypocrism so u can see the light and be rescued by ur sunni suufi brothers.

sheikh bin baz made the fatwa making misyar halal while sheikh albanee rejected it. which one do u support?

watch the video of ibn taymiyah and if u r well aware of his books and writings they refute and debunk them. if u need more for saving u from this dangerous sect and u r too lazy to watch the video, inshalah i will provide u in writing.

Personally I'm tryna avoid arguing with you, because that is your purpose on snet, to provoke people with nonsense and then argue. Also you claim i am salafi, how can one living today be salafi (pious generations after the prophet saw). Just because i believe certain practices like dancing, singing and visiting graves is not a valid form of dhikir doesnt mean I belong to or follow a certain school of thought. Unlike you i understand these labels are their to divide and conquer muslims. Btw your the one claiming 'misyar' is considered halal and practiced, therefore the burden of proof is on you.

if u r not a salafi and claim to be a sunni like us then y do u always defend their scholars like ibn taymiyah, abdiwahab, albani and company and attack sunni scholars? do u know the dude u call the greatest muslim scholar shiekh tamimiyah has rejected and rebelled against the four mad-habs of sunni and their scholars and came with bid3a intrepretation and was jailed by them? he died in jail and some sunni scholars claim he died as murtad due to some of his intrepretations. or u r confused, or u dont know. maybe u r lying. also, why do u post negative attitude posts towards somali run mosques and positive posts for hijadi convert mosques? silence is gold because u started something u can't finish.

*Nobleman* wrote: Also your article is ridiculous, that is a well known and accepted shia practice known as mutah, temporary marriage which has been rejected and hated by sunni scholars.

what burden of proof? can you comprehend my arguments above. see the sura and ayat i posted, why did i post? to point out that it contradicts the wahabi practice of short misyar marriages? you become sunni when it is convenient for u and defend the wahabis who also practice the shiat bid3a. you didnt know the wahabis practice misyar existed till i pointed to you. isnt it evident that the wahabis r not sunnis as u urself stated, "misyar is illegal for sunnis"?

Also you claim i am salafi, how can one living today be salafi (pious generations after the prophet saw).

why do the wahabis u defend always call themselves salafis? anyone who doesnt follow their sect is bidca or murtad and they label themselves as "pure muslims", do u know whose idea and writing they inherited from that thought? it was the same dude u called the greatest muslim scholar, ibn Taymiya. ignorance is a bliss.

you maybe a good accountant but u r a confused muslim and a bad debater.

wasalaam.

Every "Fatwa" by Sufi scholars is a shocking Fatwa. Some of them include:

• C-walking is wajib if done left-to-right during "dhikr", and is makruuh if done while letting your "shoulder lean"

• Praying to dead saints is permissible from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 7:00am to 7:00pm on stat holidays.

• According to the opinion of Sufyan Ibn Sufi and Abu Bidca Ibn Al-Bidcaawi, first you whirl...and then u twirl.

Scholars like all human make errors, some of these fatwas sound flawed either because they were asked the wrong way or misinterpreted. Allahu aclam. What is known though is that these scholars are the guardians of the religion. Most of them spend their lifetime teaching it or learning it. Who are we to criticize them? In addition, the Prophet (saw) said after the Anbiyaah, the scholars/clerics assume their position and anyone who attacks the scholars has declared war on Allah. After Riba, attacking the scholars/learned protectors of the deen is the only other area where declaring war on Allah is mentioned.

American, Somalis are too smart pastoral individualists to be hoodwinked and used. Therefore Wahabism won't linger that that long to take a firm root in Somalia. It is the new politics some warlords in connection with former al-Itihad members on payrolls embraced for their narrow political ends.
It has been defeated in the North as people in that region are fortunate to be homogenious clans in contrast with the diverse groupings of minorities who settle in the southern belt.
Most of their recruited young are from poor, impoverished communities. They offer them money and force them to enter a life contract that can't be revoked without losing your life.

So those insecure, brainwashed kids from minority and oppressed families/clans who see in this new conflict between the radical, intolerant Wahabi followes vs and Somalis in general as the best ideal solution of our internal problems will soon realize that they are at war with their own people as cannon foders. But what is equally worrying is the growing influence of people with no sense of humanity and capacity to think freely except worshipping suspect Sheikhs

These Shuyuukh past and present are making a mockery of the religion. We need to distance ourselves from these scholars, and their literature. :|
Not sure what the point of this thread is!

Fine. Let us distance ourselves from these scholars. This will still leave us with the question of which scholars should we follow and listen to? Do you have a top ten list?

highland i salute you correcting me sxbow. you are right afghanistan is not like somalia where the rivalry is only between two tribes like the hazaris and pashtuns, in somalia it is more complex. therr are minorities who are involved with alshabab, but the bigger somali tribes who caused the anarchy r still those who continue to dress an islamic shirt 2 continue anarchy and lead both sides except abu mansur who is digil mirif and doesnt want to leave bay and bakool. supporters of these big qawiils feel they r conquered tribes who are not in control of their tribal lands and destiny and alshabab has delivered a strong sword in the middle of their body. such big tribes are in south somalia, whether they are hawiyas or tarots. they are lost, divided and confused and dont know who to support.
