I have never heard of an Carab Saalax claiming MJ and I can't imagine one would. I'm part Carab Saalax and grew up with them, they're just very close to Majerten.
But than again, a few years ago I saw the first dark Carab Saalax, so everything is possible.

@ Abdalla11, I'm a Leelkase from Gaalkacyo, and i have many Carab Saalax relatives, but i do not try to say they are Leelkase or Darood just because we inter-marry. They are a people with Dignity, identity and respect and they are a unique somali group that lives in North Eastern Somalia, and who is related to the Darood tribe! Period!
also, when it comes to Carab Saalax and Majerteen they are the same for me, there's good and bad among them, so i do not favour anyone besides my own tribe(THE LEELKASE)

Walaal i never said that Carab saalax claim MJ or that they should claim MJ. I know alot of them but i never saw an carab saalax claiming MJ, never.

I've met many CS, but they're definitely not MJ but closely affiliated.. they are magan majerteen dhee, we baby sit them.
ps.. ofcourse they dont look arab.. after 100s of years of intermarriage with local somalis just maybe you wouldn't think they look somali by now?

Walaal, when i said, i feel closer to an carab saalax than to a Leelkasse, i meant because of the heavy intermarriage betweeb my
family and the Carab saalax. And also there are some good friends of mine in my neighbourhood, they are also carab saalax. I used to know one woman, who was married to a mareexaan, she was Leelkasse. Waa naag gob ah.

Aaniga ayeyday aabe waa CS, I never heard CS claiming to be MJ. as evey1 said they connect to other Darods and Somalis for that matter via the MJ link.
