Well I suppose there are some things that you don't have to say out loud for a Somali to understand and it wouldn't hurt that your kids have the chance to learn something about Somalia and where you come from if you end up with a Somali man and if everyone woman marries a man from another nation then the Somali people will phase out and it's probably just more comfortable being Somali with a Somali and it would be nice for your genes not to be completely lost to another random person when you have children.

So I guess there are a lot of reasons to marry a Somali guy but then again although all this fits in to a bigger picture isn't it the little details of day to day life that actually make life what it is? And if you can call someone your perfect match then surely that fact would make a partnership more likely to flourish than whether or not they are Somali.

I wouldn't marry some random non Somali guy but if you feel that he is "perfect" then I think it would be foolish to let him go just for another random Somali guy.
