Men and Women are 100% equal in Islam in xaq, and everything that matters but they are created different and require different applications. For example many of the differention is actually culturally formed based such as men inheriting more because they are required to take care of the family while a woman has no responsibility.

The inheritance law is actually very biased against the men.

The woman's "50" is her own. The man's 100 belongs to his family, his children, his wards, etc.
