You're absolutely right. I asked someone yesterday about this diet thing and they confirmed me that there is a indhayar dhakhtar who arrange stuff for them. what's wrong with our people? Plus, it is haram! These people are wearing hijab and look like they are practicing Muslims. And please don't compare American Somalis to these here. i really don't give damn about them defrauding kaffir descendants of colonizers. nor do i give a damn about them visiting embarrassment upon our somali name (we've already disgraced the somali name). but they shouldn't sin, for instance, by lying about their marital status or the legality of their children, etc. they shouldn't hide or liar about the honors and blessings which islam has bestowed upon them for measly gains. shame on them

Agree 100% . Somali fathers are supposed to be the breadwinners and they don't do their job so well. Too many of us are looking back and want to live 1 foot here in the West and the other one in Somalia, UAE or other places. I also believe welfare makes people lazy and you don't know how much I hate these guys who sit at donut shops and talking about everything except their family life and children. Truly, Somalis need to sit together and think about the future for their kids born here and what how they can save from lazy lifestyle, haram and from losing their roots. The biggest problem of Somalis has always been that they like to copy each other but they copy the good and mostly the bad. You are wrong! It is not the government they're milking. They are milking hardworking people and taxpayers and let me tell you that big companies have a thousand tricks to avoid paying high taxes so it is the individuals who pay more. Don't think that all Somalis or immigrants are at low tax brackets. When I started at my job as a young professional, I was mad mad to pay 40% of my annual pay in taxes!

SomaliStar, you couldn't be more wrong. If you really care about your religion, you may as well learn it right. It is a sin to steal from anyone whether kaffir or not. And plus lets see what is stealing? Stealing is taking something from someone who isn't willing to give it to you. They lie to do this. That's sin number 2. Lying is haram. Third, they are not taking from government but from people including Muslims, Somalis etc. They are taking money that could go to other much needed services like school children who have autism.

40% aa?.... you pay that much on your income tax?...how could this be?...i thought that the federal cap on income tax rates was @ 29% and that's on $120,000+/year income bracket. not saying you don't make that much money, but still it shouldn't be that high.
