Siyad barre govt built Hargeisa airport but was destroyed completely and was no in working order when we came back to the waddan in 1991. Then the fighting between ciidagale and Igal forces further set it back. It had to be rebuilt starting with Tuur adminstration, then Igal and now Riyaale's. Most of the work was done under Riyaale Kahin offcourse all credit is due to Cali Warancadde the civil aviation minister. He is top. Now while liqaayeTDH talks breeze he is out there signing papers with chinese construction company to come in and build it professionally. Hargeisa airport will look like LAX and burco will still have no airport but stretched out space of red sand in which they call 'airport'. masakiin ilka dhooqo

How is Liqaaye talking breeze when somebody claimed hargeisa airport being bigger than Djboutis airport?
You know airports are government initiatives right?
If so, you'd realise everything you spew is pure nonsense.

It all comes down to individuals and their work ethic sxb. If warrancade never took the initiative the goverment would not have questioned him nor compelled him to do a better job. After all this current SL or any in the past was corrupt because there is no accountability. Once there is no accountablity, it's pretty much wild wild west anyone can do or not do as they like. In that midst of corruption there comes individuals who actually work and are loyal to their country and their job. for instance people like Warracade and ex mayor of Hargeisa mudane cawl aun.
If you hope that the government will come in and build an airport for burco, they gudcur ayaad gudaysaa oo waxba makala ogid. What you need is warrancade of Hargeisa in burco dont wait for the govt or kulmiye in the future.
If you think what I say is nonsense it's most likey due to mild shortage of brain cells in your part and not lack of coherent argument from me. Adaa ahbal ah

La xowla wa laa quwatta ilaa bilaah.
Who is warrancade? Who does he work for?
Get the picture?
You are just talking for the sake of talking, you need a warrancade in Burco kulaha.
You are making no sense whatsoever.

Riyaale Kaahin is SL president and he has never done anything constructive for SL. Markaa what is your point? it's all about individuals and their work ethic.
my point in here being, Warracade waa nin wadani ah sax ah shaqo fiican na wuu hayaa.

Waxaad tidhi "dawlad' ayaa wax qabata. Hadii Somaliland ay dawladeedu wax qabbad leedahay maanta wadankeenu saas mu eekadeen ok. Shacbigu shaqadiisi wuu kasoo baxay oo wakaas nabad iyo horumar sameeye laakin qaybtii Dawlada ayaa maqan. The truth is 95% of SL govt officials are corrupt and not truthful for the job that needs to be done for S/land. Starting from the top of the helm, the President of the republic he is busy entertaining his fat wife, and his VP is spiritual suufi from Saudi Arabia who has zero political background. They chew khat every other day in their villas while getting salary that tops Obama's. Whenever a business center, school or even a wedding hall is being opened they come and cut the tape, thus making it seem they had something to do with it. That being said, there are few govt officials who are true to their work and that includes as I said the aviation minister Warrancadde who is true Hargeisawi and wadani who has chosen to hold himself accountable for his work. Ever since taken over that post, he has dramatically improved Igal International airport and made it what it is today. He has installed night lights so flights can land round the clock, he has improved the pavement and runways so bigger jets can land and he encourage and has now pull few strings so now flights from Kenya to Hargeisa are direct and nonstop. Now without going on and on here, the simple point that I'm attempting to drive home is that Burco should not wait for the governemtn to deliver for them. They should take he initiative like the
Burco' second bridge.
This is Iskaa wax uqabso. SL is incompetent and non functioning, all the nice buildings, business and even the peace exists because of the masses and some good hardworking and loyal individuals like Warancadde Abdullahi Ducaale SL's FM.
Look at Adna Adan, she is also another Hargeisawi that has taken the intuitive and started a Maternal Hospital. She alone has done more work in last decade than the whole SL govt put together.
I'm sure Burco folks have got the energy and the brains, they just need to learn to redirect their energy into more public facilities like airport, roads cetra cetra.
Waa sidaas inaader gacaliye!

agree 100%
According to Cali gaab and my boy Liqaaye Somaliland development doesn’t matter as long as rayaale being the president. That is fucked up perspective.
Politics aside, a true Somalilander would embrace any positive achievement in his home land regardless who is doing it.
In my book, Waran Cade is doing a phenomenal work at the airport and he should be congratulated for his visionary attitude. Same goes for the former mayor of Hargeisa CAWL.

^^^Thus my point indeed gents. The Presidential slot is just one little fraction of our country. If someone is willing to change Somaliland, they should go ahead NOW rather than later. Silaanyo is a lifetime politician with years in the game, why wouldn't he use his experience and lobby for Somaliland cause now rather than wait til he becomes Somaliland?

Sillantyo is like our Omar Carte. If I get elected I will free the livestock market....
Why not do it now? Omar Arteh, a heavy weight in our politics, lost primary election because of that statement above. Our people are way smarter. They have right now, right here attitude and I really respect that.
Regime change is must in Somaliland. Taasi waa markhaati ma doon.

Regime change is a must. I welcome a change to be honest with you and I hope that Silaanyo gets it this year. But waxaa la yidhi hadii aad dhimanaysid, dhareerka waa la iska duwaa. Anigu anoo cid kasta ka jecel in uu Silaany hello madaxtinimada Somaliland maanta laakinse wadadii loo marayaa ha noqoto mid aan ka hor imaanayn dastuurka. Somaliland hadii aad wax ka sheegto ama aad 24/7 dacaayad ugu maqan tahay, dee uma qalantid inaad xukuntid. Somaliland waa dal, Riyaale iwm waa shakhsi.

War kuwani miyeey huurdaan?
What part of your brains is not functioning?
The whole argument here started with Siciid claiming Reer Burco should stop moving to Hargeisa and build the Burco airport for one.
I then pointed out that the idea is not logical as you're expecting it's citizens to build an airport whereas Hargeisa was build with taxpayers money and foreign aid, a government initiative and not possible without one!
How do you expect Burco citizens to collect tax money and request foreign aid.....these steps have to come from the governments part.
Warrancadde is part of the government, that part we agree upon and yet everything is going over your head.
I did not give the credit to Riyaale, you're really beating around the bushes here.
Again, talking for the sake of talking.

so rer burco cant do anything without the government's help? where to go to inspire!
Fiction: in order for burco to build an airport it needs the Govt to take the intuitive
fact: The burco community build the second bridge all in their own without any government officials. Remember, Burco doesn't necessarily need to compete with the airport in Hargeisa, it just needs a decent one that is in working order. Right now, it's em brassing what yall call an air port.
Mr. Cali Gaab it's clear our govt isn't going to do anything to help improve the infrastructure of this tiny nation, encourage people to act on their own and do not be so reliant on their government so much. we have got to embrace the idea of 'iskaa wax u qabso'. That is the only way forward.
