Exactly my point. Besides islam, what unites us with these people? And that is assuming if all palestinians were muslim, which they aren't. The arabs have failed to help their palestinian "brothers", so what other moral obligation besides islamic empathy do somalis have to help palestine? If somalis devoted their time to helping palestine whilst having a functioning government , I would have no problem. Ganja, the religious angle was introduced by Hoowle and Union. The rest were debating from humanistic point of view. In addition to that, you are supposed to take a moral stance as a human being regardless of race and religion. You do not show empathy, solidarity, or understanding to some group's misery only when they are related to you either by blood or by faith, we are human beings and we should live as human beings with common sense.
