Work in some "stand alone office" with 4 male colleagues...sounds dodgy, she should keep looking for another job.

That said a hard headed woman would take offence if her husband told her not to do it even if she was having the same doubts. Women are like children sometimes you have to make them think it was their idea

It seems that you are conservative person and hope your wife is like you. Anyhow, how about telecommunting? Can her firm allow that? It would be great if so, my previous job was a telecommute one and I loved it.
