Walaal, i have no problem with eelaays but i do have a serious problem with shabaab. Al-shabaab's power and support base in built on eelaays. The assassin who tried to kill the president of Galmudug was an eelaay, Galmudug police shot dead the assassin before he could take out he's pistol.
I know this guy...he's been at this, Shabaab, Itixaad, Wadaad thing for a really long time...he's like the big name around...u know who he is?...Hassan Dahir Aweys....and my god he has a terrible amount of Hawiye support.

but not once have I heard u name HG in all this.

So ur problem isn't with Shabaab or with Xisbul Islam, it is with Digil y Mirifle, save us the bullshit

Poor shirb, if you only knew that Dhair aweis has become an outcast. If he walked into Dhusmeerab where he was born, they would kill him. He's entire clan does not support him, even he's one time most trusted right hand man, Sheikh Indhoadde.
It is so bad that all he's bodyguards are now eelaays iyo bantus after the ceyr ones deserted him

I think the backbone of al-Shabab in Galgaduud is Murusade, not Habar Gidir

Walaal, its the shabaab Murusade's within Galgaduud who are active in the region. This is however changing as the majority within Murusade begin to question their ties to al-shabaab

Thank you, but even so the majority do not support al-shabaab but are frightened of the eelaay commanders within the region against reprisal's for speaking up.

Al-shabaab are more powerul than XI, XI is only a problem in Beledweyne and around afgoyi. And they don't have th capability or the skills to cause trouble in Galgaduud

Probably true but they could be just a small handful of un-influential radicals

Well that's true, but at the same time no war in Somalia is one-dimensional.

The conflict in the central region has an ideological element (ASWJ vs al-Shabab) but also a Qabiilist element (Murusade vs Habar Gidir) and a regional element (Southern Galgaduud vs Northern Galgaduud).

It's like whenever there's fighting anywhere near Beledweyne. No matter what sides there are, whatever side Xawaadle picks, Ujejeen will pick the other side.

Often it doesn't even have to be real. The mere perception for instance that the UIC was a front for Habar Gidir drummed up a lot of opposition, whereas in reality Habar Gidir have been the most divided qabiil in Somalia since 2006, with brother-against-brother of Shakespearean proportions.
